Power level Illusion and Sneak to 100 and get all perks, dual cast pacify, cast muffle and invisibility, wear shrouded gloves to double one handed sneak attack damage, and kill the dragon in one hit.
I honestly never played with Illusion outside of invisibility before, but discovering it to be crucial on my current play through of a High Elf robes-only mage, no fast traveling. The only thing between me and getting destroyed by a random sabre cat is the Calm spell and Illusion perks.
otakureiss you are bull shitting mate At level 5, you probably maybe has access to Frenzy And Frenzy spell affected up to around level 14 Low Bandit mostly level with you Unless you target a Plunderer, there are no way your spell would fail
Be me illusion magic main Op as hell Makes every thing I even look at fight for me Feels good Be inside of riverwood Lizard boy flies over OH SHIT Tfw can't use illusion on towns people to make them fight or else I'll get bounty Run around riverwood like a kid trying not to die Takes like 30 minutes Town finally kill dragon Only get 100 gold and the game glitchs and doesn't give me the soul Delete save file.
fun fact if you use fortify illusion potions and vampirism you can effect the ebony warrior with your illusion spells easily especially if you use necromage vampire
LoreShelter Yeah, I usually RolePlay my illusion character with Stealth, 1 handed, Alteration, light armor and speech(Not stealth archer, screw stealth archer) . Illusion alone is pretty meh, but with Stealth Skills it's the best School of Magic is Skyrim (imo)
People saying "it's all fun until you meet dragons"; well, a lot of things don't work directly against dragons. Because of that you shouldn't incorporate them in your playstyle? So pickpocket, lockpicking and speech have no place in the game because of dragons? If it makes the game fun for you, it serves its purpose. The game does not exclusively run around dragons.
Not sure if anyone saw my comment on your last video so I'll give it another quick mention. I'd love to see a Fallout 4 Farmer Build. He'll wear farmer clothing, use generic farmer weapons such as double barrel shotgun or a hunting rifle, have his trusty dog companion by his side and stays away from stimpaks so he only is able to heal himself from the crops and water he produces on the many farms he will own.
The Spectre and the Vampire Temptress are some of my all time favorite builds! I even made a build similar to the temptress, except I made her a dark elf, and I made her an evil character who constantly seeks power and knowledge to further herself
Pls give some thought into a top five destruction builds! I am so desperately trying to create a jack-of-all trades vampire build and it would be great to get some heavy destruction aspects into it.
Which tree is more expensive? Im doing a conjuration/illusion/alteration build and having trouble picking which tree to not lower cost with enchanting. Maybe conjuration?
@@flute136 that's a rough one, in those 3 schools you don't have, to cast a Lot in the same fight,If you cast ilusion to Frenzy and only use conjuration to kill the last , you probably will not run out of magicka. If you don't sneak, then reduce conjuration to allways have a meat shield.
i bet you boys are real happy about the whole gay marriage thing going on. finally, you lovely things can shout your love from the rooftops without being judged
The illusion tree is actually pretty good you can sit back while all the enemy fight each other, run away in fear, or pretend like you’re one of them or you can sneak past them avoiding them completely basically you can just skip all fights or you only need to kill 1 enemy per fight which makes it so you can just walk through the game almost or completely without fighting
For the shadow foot, use can use fists and say you "knocked them out" so for quests where you need an item that's an enemy or if it's a go kill this quest you can still finish it.
The soldier of fortune reminds me of my build based on Rasputin. He uses heavy armor and weaponry but also a bit of all types of magic, especially illusion, conjuration, and alteration; as well as a high skill in speechcraft. He has steel plate armor and the Masque of Clavicus Vile, and his primary weapon is the Ebony Blade.
I'm thinking of another idea: A werewolf Imperial Illusion caster. Sort of like the Knight of Fortune, but she's a mind-twister until the beast comes out and shreds shit.
If you’re using the dreamstrider build I’d recommend the nether mags armor. The one with nothing in the cowl just looks really nice. The build isn’t shown in the video but it’s one of my favorites.
Uhm, Path of sorcery? The Illusion tree is Boss in that mod, every level of illusion improves the effectiveness of your illusion spells, so you will always be able to fear or Frenzy your target up to a pretty high level. The tree makes it so if you Frenzy an alone target he will slowly die, theres an ability that allows you to create a shadow of your target that will attack your target if frenzy ain't doing it for ya. theres also a fucking funny ability that allows you to take complete control of your target, you can then walk him off a cliff if you'd like. ha ha ha ha ha :D ah..good times.
Indeed it is, i possessed a dude up at bleak falls barrow, you know the bandits up there?, i killed most of em of course then possessed the last one, made him jump off the cliff near by. before he even began to fall i canceled the spell, and saw him fall with my own character .....Splat! LOL XD .. Oh its just not fair LEL X'D.
I'm actually playing a build similar to a Shadowfoot. I call him "the blood thief" He is a vampire who relies on stealth to steal and loot and uses illusion magic as a last resort. He is a smooth talker and detests violence, but when left with no other choice he uses frenzy and siphon blood.
Thank you for making these awesome builds and just videos in general your awesome and I have been watching since the beginning keep up the awesome work man your my favorite youtuber
No "Operator" Illusion build? Great video, but you neglected range. My High Elf Operator uses Fury, Fear, Invisibility, and Muffle to disrupt both sides in the Civil War, by spooking their horses and then slowly throwing the camps into panic, as soldiers start randomly running away or attacking their friends. Then she has no trouble slipping in for a peek at the maps and the loot. With Dream Geas, she can take the General with her for as long as she wants, as an added bonus, adding insult to injury.
Shadowfoot is still my favourite Fudgemuppet build called him Radu Arendu on my old PS3 saves and I plan on taking him into the next elder scrolls game as an old elf who hid from Nocturnal with his magic but at the cost of his memories.
The Merchant is one of my favourite illusion builds. Major Skills: Illusion; Alteration; Speech. (if you like to dwelve more into the Archetype i sudgest one of the crafting skills too) Equip: Merchant Clothes; Merchant Boots; Fine hat (or cowl if you're into that sort of things) Just try to use Speechcraft (always persuasion first) to get what you want and Illusions if attacked. You cannot use weapons, since you are just a merchant, but you have a trusted bodyguard and/or war Dog. Nothing Sneaky or Lethal must come out of you, becaue you want to keep your good name, but you may enjoy a brawl or a bet, from time to time. For race i sudgest Imperial, for theyr keen sens of buisness, but Khajiit seems to fit the role too.
Great video, as always :) I have a suggestion. I'm not sure if you guys have covered it yet; who is Julianos and what are some interesting facts about him? I ask because I've seen his name mentioned briefly on loading screens and I know he's a god, but other than that I never hear him mentioned in Skyrim. Just a suggestion :)
I never use magic unless I feel bored and if so I'll do illusions and the fireball, ice spikes and that type of stuff among with bounded weapons in which I'm gonna start a build all on bounded weapons use.
Im doing all illusion spells along with sneak and archery, im a kahjiit thats pitch black, with red narrow eyes and i use a dagger and my fists killing anything i get my hands on.
Love the puppet master build turn enemies against each other watch the show as they kill each other while u are invisible then the last one my favourite thing to do sneak behind the last enemy and cut their throat. Also use conjuration summon powerful creatures to spice things up while u are invisible or in the shadows!
Northwatch keep-Harmony outside, Harmony inside, Tell Thorald to come on. Cast Harmony outside one more time and leave. You get a small extra bonus if you can get in and out without bloodshed. I always wondered what would happen if you kill the giant for the orc but, cast harmony on the chief and leave instead of killing him. I gotta try.
I’m not really sure how to play the pacifist. I’m using the Illusion tree from ordinator. And all I do is calm or pacify, then do I haul my ass to get to the objective? Won’t the bandits come back to town after my spell wears off? I’m slightly confused on how to play a more reluctant scholar. Hence why I came to this video for insight.
i'm drubk. so makea sucky suck build. sa [gf that doesnnt use vlte hair dye to say tat she pregnatn6. because I think that illuxionm magic is underpowered. booom. pfffft hahaha. I like you're videos,
Shadowfoot cast fear on grendel the kind she runs outside get killed by a beggar. Collect reward for dark brotherhood contract. Wake up in the dark brotherhood test where have to kill someone to progress. Congratulations you broke the shadowfoot playthrough. Since you cant progress without physically getting you hands dirty.
I made an Illusion build (+ some more) for my Champion of Auri-El. He's a Snow elf, and a good-hearted one who wants to avoid unnecessary bloodshed as much as possible. Grown up in a remote enclave of Snow elves in Cyrodiil, he has come to the land of his ancestors to find out more about his people. Facing the Falmer on many occasions but not wanting to kill his defiled kin, he goes to the College of Winterhold to learn Illusion magic. There, he learns spells he uses frequently on the battlefield to avoid bloodshed. He also (aside from Illusion) is a master archer (for Auri-El's bow), and wields Frost magic in one hand and Auri-El's shield in the other, being a master at block. I used an elven and later glass axe instead of magic a lot as he was leveling up and his destruction wasn't powerful enough yet, but haven't put any perks into one-handed. He also uses restoration magic heavily, both to heal himself and his allies, as well as the sun fire spell to go with his role as Auri-El's Champion.
illusion is op....until you get to level 33. . .given the even the master illusion spells, even with the perks to make them work on higher level targets only work on level 33 or lower
I made a build I call Death Reaper. Dunmer race. Specialty uses conjured weps (bound bow (main) bound Sword (backup) as only wep while using the most deadliest poisons players can craft (Nightshade +river betty) or (Nightshade + Deathbell). Using only bound weapons cuts down on weight while also never worrying about being separated from your wep for long. Also add the built in soul trap upon killing ur foes and the ability to banish summoned threats. When in doubt use illusion magic to regain control of the situation. Only real issue is points needed to setup build. The bound bow spell allows u to possess unlimited arrows as everytime u cast bound bow it comes with 100 deadra arrows. Utilizing alchemy can allow u a short-cut to aquire the tools u need from illusion like invisibility and paralysis poisons.
I did do a passafist run a couple of days ago. It was very fun. But after a while I went over to also having some destruction magic and Conduration in the build to spice things up. I refused to steal in the playthrought and was supoosed to be a righteous mage. But at some missions I allowed to steal a few things mostly bc I wanted the master enchanter to help me with ma enchanting. Also with that the cost from illion spells. It is very fun still. Illusion is my 2 nd favourite magic school and one of the best builds I have played thuss far. Also after getting enough reduction to Illusion magic spells. It is very easy to level up with the master Illusion spell Harmony. Also no risk with spaming that spell. Just reset your Illusion to legendary again and again and u can easily get 30 and more levels if u keep going. Very fun way of cheesing levels and getting perks fast.
I made myself a build which is mainly focused on illusion and speech. I also invested a bit in healing and stealth. It's like being a master manipulator. I never played this way before and I love pacifying the animals if they are trying to attack me, as I always loved them. I get to intimidate and persuade who ever I'm talking to. Are you attacked by a group of mobs and you don't want to fight them? Make them kill themselves or just fear or pacify them as well. Idk why I didn't play this way before. It's awesome.
I have a build that is similar to the spectre, but its a nord that also uses a muffle and invisibility spell, he is a vampire that where's shrouded armor, the the ancient shrouded gloves, the worn off shrouded armor and boots (for enchantments), and the shrouded hood because it just looks way cooler than the cowl,he uses 0 magicka when he cast illusion spells,he uses a blade sword that does a total of 817 damage,if you use the backstab perk and the shrouded gloves,he does a total of over 9000+ damage in sneak attack mode, the enchantment of the blade are the chaos damage and the silent moons enchantment,he alos dual wields with two blade swords that deal a total of 1600+ damage in total for the two blades equipped, and when he sees a single enemy left (after using a frenzy spell in a room full of them) he will neither use an invisibility spell and sneak attack or use a paralyze spell then attack it in sneak mode to still do 12x damage, and he does a total of 4000+ damge with a daedric dagger that has a upgraded damage of 147,he's pretty much tooo powerful for a nightblade or illusion build,I now call him the ShadowBlade as he can kill someone publicly without getting detedted every 85% of the time.
The "Adept of Sheogorath" : Frenzy and Calm spells. Zombie raising spells Restoration spells (repell undead and npc buff spells along heals) Alteration to paralyze people, throw deadly items with telekinesy, and the helpful mage armor with triple perk. Do whatever pleases you for combat: cause chaos with frenzied enemies attacking their friends while fighting the resurrected ones, or just calm everyone and go find some funnier stuff to do. Example of chaos playing: DB mission where you pose as a cook, but don't poison the food (make the soup with the craziest ingredients*) then have everyone fight to death while you pick who to give buffs. *i wished the "emperor" actually pade comments about the soup being atrocious, or trying to sugarcoat it to not hurt the Gourmet's ego
