The only thing i know about skyrim speedruns is that when you unmount from horse while it has its mouth next to the ground you become supersonic warhead and this state transitions through the loads hence him redoing that and loading into solstheim to reach miraaks sanctum
It's just that huntsman's horse is the most consistent way of doing so because of: 1)being close to helgen 2)spawning consistently (go to the border, wait 1 hour, works every time) 3)having a stone from which you can set your horse into proper position (those are rare)
not only did this guy kill miraak in 5 minutes, but he also served jail time, set up marriage for himself and learned fireball. considering we hardly get to riverwood by then thats beyond just impressive
Alternatively, Dragonborn is so terrified of committing to an actual relationship that standing up his new fiance helps to push him through his adventures even faster.

my favorite parts of this speedrun were when rolof asks you what the hurry is while helgen is getting ravaged by a dragon, punching a horse as soon as you spawn to get jail time, setting up a wedding for some reason only to not show up, traveling to an alternate dimension and instantly killing some kind of evil wizard. i have not played skyrim so this is insanity to me
I can only imagine how many hours it took to not only figure this out but to execute it the right way....spending forever to figure out how to play through a game as quick as possible will always be its own brand of crazy genius.
The discovery of these glitches and strategies is often a collective effort. One person finds one or more, shares it, and then others start using it in their runs. Sometimes a record goes unbroken for years until someone finds a new glitch.
My jaw was dropped the entire time I watched this. The hours I've clocked trudging about that frozen wasteland... And on top of it, I literally couldn't once guess what was coming next. Brilliant execution dude holy.
@@nicodemoboccia5090 Forgive me of I'm wrong, but I believe it's something to do with when the quest is failed with the player not attending, it skips something with the current quest you are doing.
@@Bonk4Me look. This is common to speedruns. In Majoras Mask you used to have to get caught tresspassing and thrown out of the palace onto the fucking moon. In portal 2 you just dont disable the deadly neurotoxin that will kill you, and in minecraft you fail at sleeping.
The irony that this expansion adds the ability to tame and ride dragons, despite the fact that Nords have already conquered the skies with the power of horse.
Imagine being a Daedric Prince, and some random guy in rags with magic popped in to your dimension, killed your champion, stole from his corpse, and proceeded to tea bag his body.
Guy parkoured around a dragon, stole a horse, flew across Skyrim by flapping his arms, punched a horse, got arrested, got married, went to Solsteim, went to Oblivion and killed Miraak in 5 minutes. Alduin, meanwhile, is still in Helgen wondering wtf just happened.
Richter Belmont first skyrim horses can climb up vertical walls, and now they can be hyperslingshots. What’s next, they all sprout wings simultaneously and become pegasi?

This is my first time watching a Skyrim speedrun and when he got on the horse I thought, "Oh, that's smart, he got a horse so he can travel faster." Little did I know he wouldn't only be traveling faster but traversing through the space time continuum and 50 different parallel universes.
There are so many variations of that glitch but that one was the first i saw which allows going in all directions while being flash, i highly recommend watching these Bethesda game speedruns, the glitches are so confusing and cool
That bit at 5:50 of him sliding around the floor while tentacles start pulling him into a book as he gets a “Failed: attend your wedding ceremony” message is peak Skyrim.
After 70 hours of playing this game I finally understand what it's all about, I remember when I started playing skyrim and discovering the power of alchemy and enchanting.

Imagine You're a dragonborn, a dragon priest and a pupil of the daedric God of knowledge, rebelled against the dragons and at least 20 corpses can be found around your temple and you wanna rebel against the daedric Prince of knowledge then the next thing you know a homeless man who escaped from jail murders you

Reinstal the game terray, if you have an xbox one. Try reinstalling the operating syestum on it. Its a problem with windows ten which causes data to be corrupt.
