Hope you enjoyed part 2 Wizards… only our toughest bosses to go! 👿 Be sure to subscribe/turn on notifications so you don’t miss out! *FAQs* Q: How come there weren’t 16 bosses in this part 2? 🧙♂️: I should have noticed this sooner, but one of our bosses, Vahlok the Jailor, has no data for some reason. I don’t know how that happened, but because he hasn’t got any statistics, I can’t rank him unfortunately. There will be 46 bosses instead.
Durnehvir glitched out for me on my first run and became a permanent companion when I summoned him. To say the least, i enjoyed having a dragon buddy for the rest of my playthrough.
I've been playing with boss altering mods for so long that seeing Alduin in part 1 was a genuine shock for me, it's been nearly a decade since I faced the pushover that is Vanilla Alduin
@thebrokuyasu4733 I don't know what mod the original commenter uses, but I use Alduin the Powerful. His Sovngarde fight becomes INCREDIBLY hard. You can't even rely on the other Dragonborn warriors to tank attacks because he knocks them down so easily.
One big potential trouble with Zahkriisos comes if you're a melee-focused player. He not only floats away from you constantly while spamming spells, he floats over deep water, which means you're constantly forced to put your weapons away and swim! It's entirely possible to be basically helpless in this fight, if you don't have good ranged options.
Yeah several of the dragon priests are bad that way because they terrain makes them basically impossible to follow, but they zip around blasting the crap out of you.
Literally just listened to part 1 the first time while I was stocking this morning and was fiending for part 2; wonderful timing. As expected of a wizard.
You probably get asked this a lot but could you please share your mod list? The visuals, the gameplay elements, everything seems well thought out and put in place! Even the robes on Malkoran are great. As for the bosses, I think you can use Potema's rays on her own draugr so I preferred to stay in that room. I'm surprised that some like Malkoran or Morokei get only a 3-4/10 in difficulty, these guys wrecked my ass, especially the on the first encounter
That is what i did to deal with Othar I remember I walked into that ruin at a low level and got beaten several times till I decided to use the traps to kill him
Okay I have been playing Skyrim on and off for like 7 years and played through it too many times, and there is nothing knew I can learn about the game, but I find your videos both entertaining and nostalgic so big props from me 🤩 I also like the role playing part, by playing a role in your videos you capture the premise of Skyrims RPG model on many dimensions
I recently fought Volsung on one of my characters. With the Staff of Hasidoki, I cast him down the side of the mountain, and slide down after him, hacking away with the Ghostblade, piercing him with Fire Arrows, and hurling fireballs at him, until at last his ashes were cast down the slope.
The first trouble I had for bosses was Krosis. This story has two parts. The first was my first run ever on the original skyrim when I was hunting dragons and I walked up to Shearpoint and when his coffin popped open I was caught offguard and being low level I died enough times to the point that I had to wait for more levels for health and combat since I was a thief character. The second story is about my most recent run in with him which is a much more impressive display of my experience with the game on anniversary edition. At level 11 as a ranger I defeated him without breaking a sweat before I even went to bleak falls barrow by coming prepared with the atronach stone and rare curios's potion "spell absorption" for that 100% stat and just fired hundreds of arrows at him while also in survival mode and then after defeating him made camp and sat through the night looking at the stars as my armor set with his mask along with the elven hunter set was complete, btw was also on legendary difficulty. Also has ended up being one of my favorite characters I ever made and is not a stealth archer build either as I wanted it to be a ranger build.
And the hardest boss...Nazeem Every time he asks me if I go to the cloud district very often it defeats me both mentally and physically now that's a true boss battle.
Potema’s dragur was such a difficult fight my first play through. Even with Dawnbreaker and Erandur helping me it still took several attempts. By the end I had to track down my sword only to find my companion died in the fight.
I remember recently when I played on Legendary, I finally gathered enough courage to take on Karstaag with my Ice resistant stahlrim armor and fully boosted Ebony Blade. No doubt it was rough but I'm glad I came out on top even when using what's considered the weakest two handed sword.
I remember when I was new to Skyrim I tried taking on Malkoran. I saved before entering his room, but after going through the hallway door. After a few failed attempts I decided to come back later, only to find out that the hallway door had glitched and locked behind me. I had to get good real quick
I just fought Otar recently and before he had even realised he was out of his coffin, he had arrows sticking into him, i'm playing on expert difficulty so i guess stealth archer really is as powerful as they say
If Sidgis Gauldurson is coming up, I have a thing or two to say about him. He's an arsehole. Shouts you down and when you're flollopping about everywhere, he pelts you with arrows. Nevermind when you finally get up if you haven't died yet, he often teleport if enough time has passed, and normally you're trying to smack him but in a panic against time hit the wrong one, triggering a teleport and refreshing of all of his clones. The wanker. Good vids so far though, Welshy, looking forward to part 3!
I remember my first time fighting Nahkriin. I was a level 26 argonian mage with points in destruction, conjuration, restoration, and alchemy. I first thought he would be like the morokei fight which I won by healing behind rocks and draining his magicka. I was wrong because there were few spots to hide behind when you fought him. He used control daedra on my flame atronach and I was cornered by him. Luckily i thought each fight in skuldafn would be as hard as the my first encounter against morokei.I brought a lot of potions with me. Some of them i brewed and the rest i bought in Arcadia's caudron. Before I made a final charge at him when his health was at about 30 percent I chugged a resist fire potion,a resist shock potion, enough magicka potions to restore my 350 magicka, some healing potions, and some sleeping tree sap. I banished my atronach that he was controlling using banish daedra and used shock spells on nahkriin until he was depending on his staff, after which I finished him off with a dual cast fireball for satisfaction.
Been watching all your other Skyrim vids for the first time these last couple weeks and especially loved the first boss ranked vid! Keep up the good uploads!
All the Dragonpriests are super easy to kill as a 2 handed build, due to their slow attack speed, once you hit around level 30 you can kill any of them before taking any. damage. Especially since it takes them a while to wake up from their slumber.
When I fought morokei I thought it would be a lot harder than it actually was because while I was using magic, I realized that he drained magika so I switched to my weapon and killed him in 4 hits! It was kind of disapointing
Number 27, omg, I remember being in Blackreach and I was like “this huge ass glowing ball HAS to be important”, took a long time looking around and I was like “eh, I guess not” 😂 now I gotta go back!
Well there are SOME ancient undead you can trust. Like guy who tells you to kill Hevnoraak. ...And Serena if you count her. Also I see you played a with Dragon Priest Armory, with Rahgot bit having his armor. : )
Yeah I had more issues getting to number 26 not to mention the ice lake dragons than the fight against him not sure if I was over or under leveled by the time I beaten him. And number 21 aside from the lightning storm from her you would have more issues with the drauger with my first time fighting her. And I would have placed number 20 higher cause no matter how many times I have faced him I always died to him whether it be him or his shade and the ice spells as well.
Love your videos. Just recently came across your channel in the past few weeks and I love listening to them whilst doing other things(or sometimes getting distracted and just watching the video lol). It’s a nice change from the annoyingly fast paced loud typical gaming content I see on RU-vid. Keep up the great work!
I remember getting my ass kicked as a levelled mage trying to take down karstaag. Since he’s completely immune to magic I just had to hide with my tail between my legs as my dremoras did EVERYTHING. A humbling experience..
My first time confronting Zahkriisos was as my first dedicated stealth archer. I was only level 19 but thankfully he glitched out and just floated away from me til he got stuck in a corner so I just beat him up till he died.
I remember fighting Malkoran. I was running a heavy armor warhammer build. I charged in to attack... and immediately died, as, despite my leveling into health, his Ice blasts could instakill me. For once in that playthrough, I had to actually play *evasively* in what I affectionately call the "force of nature" build, lest i be careless and get instakilled by his ice storms. (it happened several times). I was very happy to defeat him... only to store Dawnbreaker in a weapon rack in Breezehome.
If you kill nahkirriin with perfect timing as he removes the staff from the pedestal and jump through the portal you can get his unique staff aswell. It has its own model if I remember correctly. Quick save at the bottom of the steps before entering the large courtyard with the portal without being detected. Then use slow time
My personal Tip, after 10years of Skyrim: Breton - Sneak - Illusion - Speech - One Handed - Archery - Pickpocket and a little (Conjuration, as it can get tight, sometimes - EmergencyEntrance so to say😊) I love this game! I am more experimenting and trying strange things and possibilities out, then actually playing the game!🤣
Boss 26: Arch-Curate Vyrthur Had "Block Runner" and "Sheild Charge" unlocked when I fought this boss for the first time, same result. Actually climbed down the cliffside, and to the ice below, without dying....only to realize I could of used the Wayshrine portals to get to his body, MUCH quicker than running all the way through the Forgotten Vale...
Malkoran makes a great dead thrall, he still becomes a shade after death so it's like having 2 followers in one. Just be careful because the shade form is hostile to everything including you.
Melkoran was a menace the first time I faced him, it was around 11pm when I started the quest I was around level 14, I kept dying to his frost spells and shades and when I finally managed to kill him he transformed after death and killed me again, I needed to go to bed, he drained me of my potions, scrolls and sleep but I was stubborn, I eventually claimed Dawnbreaker at sunrise IRL.
Durnehviir was glitched for one of my characters. Every time I did the shout, he wouldn't come. I think its because I had the absorb magicka effect from the alteration perk tree, the atronach stone, and the vampire nercromage combo. I also realized it made my conjuration spells not work either, so Durnehviir must be considered conjuration. I think it was the same when trying to summon Arrvak.
I once entered Malkoran's room, and blasted him with Unrelenting Force. It resulted in him getting stuck into the wall and the game getting bugged. As a result, I had to start again.
When I fought Malkoran, he turned into a shade and glitched so I could only deal damage with shouts, I only had unrelenting force with barely did anything
Second time watching. I love your videos and this one was great. I also want to ask when your Discord server will come online? Thank you Wizard for your awesome content.
Malkoran is cheeseable if you use the unbound freezing spell in AE/Arcane Accessories. He and his shades get frozen solid and fall over so they can't do any damage.
Malkoran and Valyn Varen (don't think we've reached him yet, which is telling) are two bosses that I dread fighting... I can't remember what happened when I fought Malkoran in the past but I've used Werewolf form and followers to deal with him.
You probably get this question a lot but what mods do you use? From the moment I saw your videos for the first time I couldn’t look away and it reminded me of the time I first played Skyrim
15:15 due to me pretty much always doing the dawngaurd line after alduin I can cheese this fight fairly easily by dragonrending him and then combining dragon aspect and berserkers rage with 2 ebony war axes to annihilate him within seconds of landing
I remember when i fought karstaag for the the first time it was completely on accident and he absolutely destroyed me even at level 121 i couldn't figure out how to kill him because of the ice wraiths and blizzard spell but I eventually got him on my 3rd or 4th try
I never used Survival Mode! Don't really like the idea of being hindered and limited by it! I love Dawnbreaker, I've killed well over 700 undead in several playthroughs with it! Have a mod called "True Dawnbreaker" which added the Silver Weapons' effect and Dawnguard Rune Axe's enchantment to it thus making it even more effective against the undead which had the 700 plus kill count lol! Mostly killed draugr and those things in the Soul Cairn with it but quite a few other undead too!
First time I fought vyrthur I shouted him off the balcony immediately, but then my game glitched and wouldn’t let me play further, so I reloaded the game and fought him normally 😂😂
Wonder where the two Revered Dragons of the Forgotten Vale will be ranked. Can’t spell their names, but these two are a menace. Not only is it a double dragon fight, which is already pretty tricky, but these two also have the unique ability to dive under the ice from where they emerged.
Calling it early the top 2 are karstaag and ebony warrior that require a self nerf to be challenging seeing how both are one shottable with jarrin root which can be gotten at like lvl 20
With otar i would recomened also to not use summoned allies and that's because there's a follower you can get called nyx her custom summon can be affected by the command daedra spell and it doesn't matter what gear you have it will one shot you
Zahkriisos just didn't attack during my fight with him, maybe it was because I time slowed him and almost killed him or maybe it's just because he couldn't get some distance.
Malkoran should be much higher on the list. The Ice Storm spell he shoots out all the time feels like it's much stronger than anyone else's, and can take down even the hardiest of nords. The section itself is also making a lot of assumptions as to what abilities you have by the time you get to the boss. And the beacon drops quite quick...
How did Volsung ended up here? I was playing on an exper difficulty and bashing him with a shield preventing his movements and cast of spells, he didn't damage me even once.
I recently just fought haknir death brand brought my wife jenassa with me we both have enchanted weapons i gave her chillrend and enchanted her glass sword the sword absorbs health i had two ebony swords one absorbs health the other absorbs stamina also had the sanguine rose which comes in mighty handy against his crew my armor and her armor are also enchanted so yep i was definitely prepared
Dear modders, I have long wished there to be more spells in skyrim, the problem being that modded spells are too powerful and easy to obtain. I wish there to be rare spell books that cost a high amount of gold, and ones in the chambers of great bosses, yet not overpowered, but fair.
I wish the alteration and restoration schools were more fleshed out. Like in TCoW there’s masters of each school, yet when you use it it’s so dumbed down. The perks in both skill trees are crazy good too but most people don’t pick them up very often
Poor ishcar8616 (I think is how it's spelled - I'm experiencing low rez right now and it's making it hard to read) - hopefully they sought vengeance after finding the Staff of Hasedoki.
New here! Wondering what mods you're running! Specifically the hud mod as it looks cool and would love to add it to my mods, but I don't have time to just search through Nexus to look for it. Having the name to search would make this so much easier! A list of your other mods would also help, but I mainly want the hud mod so that I can see what the enemy's Magicka and Stamina are at!
I can now understand why Alduin was so far down the list. I mean, the only way I ever got a real challenge during his fight was by cranking the difficulty all the way up to legendary, and even then it only prolonged the fight, making it longer. Now lord Harkon, or whatever his name was at the very end of the Dawnguard dlc after getting the bow...him and the bossfight right before actually gave me somewhat of a challenge. But the gimmick with Harkon was very annoying, tbh. I never liked it. But it was memorable, though. ...Ykw, I'll also add in one more, to end on a fun little unique kind of bossfight (imo) that I recently remembered. That unique dragon you can encounter in Blackreach by Unrelenting force'ing at the giant lantern at the top...that was actually a fun Dragon fight. Do recommend trying it out if your ever doing the main questline. It's also a good way to snag an extra dragon soul if your ever looking for one. Edit: So Welsh DID include the unique Dragon I JUST mentioned in this comment! That's awesome! Yeah, I thought it was very cool. Def would do it again on my next character. For those who don't know, I'm talking about the one in 29th place in this very video, and for those who do, then ignore this last bit, it's just for those Skyrim players who may have never found him because of overlooking that big lantern down in Blackreach. Def a cool little secret boss.
Oh, another boss fight story I'd love to add: So about those dragon priest's boss fights...I think it was one in this video, Otar the mad. So I was doing a little challenge run to see just how much I could do without ever leveling up (So this character was going in at level one.) and I ended up in Otar's little dungeon. It was a fun little adventure, and needless to say, I managed to beat him. Fun part was I did almost nothing. Lydia and Undying ghost for the win! Def would recommend that conjuration spell if you ever do a similar run to mine. :)
If I had to say my top 3 hardest boss fights they would probably be: 3. alduin (high hrothgar) - I just remember getting absolutely annihilated during my first playthrough. 2. Sigdis Gauldur - I Hate this dude still to this day because he was just so annoying. When we would just conjure ten dupes of himself and then all use the unrelenting force at the same time, I just spent half the fight picking the wrong dupe and the other half being ragdolled around the dungeon… AND THAT WAS WITH SPELLBREAKER. 1. Thoron (the naked guy wearing the helmet in the saints and seducers expansion pack) - This man is so annoying, like unbelievably annoying. He somehow manages to have an armour rating of 17 and still manages to obliterate me. He conjures his own saints and seducers, blasts you with shock damage so any melee build is just dead and any mage’s magicka just drops. Just unbelievably hard, no other way to say it.
@@mattdean7461 Sorry, should have clarified that these are the top 3 that I have personally fought. Never got to level 80 purely because i don’t see the point in making it a chore if you know what I mean.
@@TheTrueBigWill oh ok well that makes sense now lol and I understand what you are saying about it being a chore but for me personally Skyrim is my favorite game of all time and I also play heavily modded so to me at least it’s not a chore at all to get to level 80 or higher lol
All my Skyrim boss fights went something like this: left click the enemy untill I get to half life, sprint away at an unreasonable speed (imo), scran cheese wheels, repeat 27 times. So I can't comment on the ratings. The game engine makes it too easy to cheese, pun intended. Two handed bandit chief should be number #1 though, and you know that.
Rahgot being this low is absolute nonsense. The bastard spawns with four Draugr Deathlords! *FOUR!* Malkoran should also be way higher. Comes with four minions, has an Ice Storm that can instakill low-level characters, and turns into a shade with lightning to finish you off if you beat him while low on health. Real bastard of a boss.
