This content can be purchased separately, or you can purchase the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim which has it included. Q: Does this work on old generation consoles? 🧙♂️ Unfortunately not. PS3 and XBOX 360 owners will not be able to purchase Arcane Accessories as creative club content is not supported on those consoles.
@@theWelshWizard The vanilla Destruction spells all require damage to be done in order to gain experience, these creation club spells seem to just rely on time channeled, like telekinesis for Alteration magic, although there you at least have to be actually using the spell to hold an item for the trick to work.
It’s worth mentioning that within Hob’s Fall Cave, in the upper left chamber is one of the Stones Of Barenziah needed for the quest “No Stone Unturned”
I'm presently trying to get to level 80 to fight the Ebony Warrior for the first time, and while I was going to skip Destruction in favor of just doing another skill over, this has convinced me to use it.
I am not sure if you like using the alchemy loop, but I did that, while trying to be "reasonable".....I got destruction spells that did 198% damage and felt like that was reasonable. After all, how can you run into some fire mage that can fireball you into oblivion with a single damn fireball. My son likes archery and the "surprise shots" sure are great for the sneak attack damage, but shoot them when they can see you? Its like a pea shooter. And magic is worse. Meanwhile, one ice bolt or fire bolt from them and you are flying across the room like you are in a hurricane. And it can be 7 enemies with normal strength and then some ungodly brute who just wont die. Game is nerfed. I have no shame lol.
For those who don't have the creation from the creation club, I have found that just using rune spells in combat insted of your normal spells is very fast compared to other methods. I don't know if its technically faster than shooting shadowmere, but its a lot more enjoyable and I hardly ever see this advice.

@@theWelshWizard You can continuously use Secret of Mana as long as you are in the Black Book Filament and Filigree itself. Every time you retake the boon it re applies the effect to be used right away cancelling out the 24 hour wait time. You can just then spam any spell on the health regenerating lurkers there. This also applies to the other effects and you can also stack it with the Secret of Protection to last longer while in the book. It may be helpful in your SE version of destruction perhaps.
Destruction levels up based on the speed the damage is done. Runes explode and do burst damage, it grants more exp. If you want to make it even faster, make a poison of weakness to X element, hit a bad guy and run them over it. Dual cast it to do 220% DMG for 280% cost, with the poison and take even more damage.
This... "method" is insane. I did it yesterday 12/09/22- I'm playing the Anniversary edition on X BOX Series X. If you fast travel far enough it literally goes from level 15-100 in one fast travel. Choose a remote location out near Riften, cast the spell then fast travel all the way up to a ruin near Solitude. You literally go from 15 to 100- you get your levels, perks and everything. Thanks to this method, I made Destruction "Legendary" 10 times! I ended up getting many extra perks and my overall level went from 21-78 in like 20 mins. This is an insane method. Kind of cheaty.... but what the hell- it's an 11 year old game and I've done the honest way many times before lol
@@djuraster Of course not, but as I said in my comment. I've played Skyrim many times over the last 10 years without help from this glitch so using it this time- is not exactly skipping playing the game.

This would be useful, if I had Anniversary Edition. (Un)fortunately, I'm stuck with Special Edition for Nintendo Switch. Edit: to everyone commenting to say that AE is on Switch, I know, I have it now, and it is honestly kind of underwhelming
Yeah, I'm sorry to say that this won't work for Xbox 360 and PS3 owners as the Anniversary content was never released on those consoles sadly. I would recommend doing this exploit for more advanced players, because not only your enemies will level up, and novice players can end up electrocuting the town guards (unless you don't mind not skipping few quest in game).
For those who cannot fast travel (either by choice or by mod), there is another method - albeit much slower. You'll need a destruction rune spell and a conjuration spell. Place rune, summon minion on top of rune, summon another minion nearby. When the first minion starts fading away, it is briefly considered as an enemy, thus triggering the rune. The second familiar dies from the blast. Destruction skill goes up.
I recommend using the fast travel method in Helgen, since it only has bandits, then go back to the cave where you got the unbounded storm, repeat 2 or 3 times and you're already good to go!

i would also recommend getting the secret or arcana of whatever its called because you can use the power to use spells without any magicka and use the spell then fast travel to a location

an improvement to this would be to show how to actually get to the chest as in the entire path whether its sped up or not as maps arent good for plotting routes in skyrim
I'm glad to see that CC has added what is essentially the Telekinesis Fast Travel exploit for leveling Alteration, but for Destruction instead, which was always the biggest pain in the ass to level when it came to spellcasting skills. What mod are you using for the visual enchantments on weapons? The one I'm using is kind of rubbish and only adds some swirls in a colour determined by the enchantment. No flames or frost.
even on survival mode, just casting the spell with 100% spell reduction is better than what I normally do, that being get master training until 90 and using the scholar's insight perk to get 10 levels from skill books
You don’t actually need spell reduction for this to work, you can just cast the spell and fast travel. But if you’d like to achieve 100 legitimately, 100% spell reduction is the way, either with cost reduction gear or Secret of Arcana
If you did the unbounded storm while fast traveling from Riften to Markarth you will level up your destruction quicker because they're the highest level areas.
When I go there, I'm on Expert difficulty, I have the dragon phone plate set that you get from that campsite on the South East part of the map with the quest of course and I also have a Warhammer from the Saints and seducers as well as Umbra. I went to Champions rest and I cheesed the boss into increasing not only my sneak but my archery and whatever I don't know but I doubt a lot so I'm going to do this. There's also one where you use Clairvoyance and you fast travel from one point to the other just the way you use this effect. Or you could just use the spell muffle a lot
I'll keep this simple, apologies for any profanity. Yes, this actually works. From the Tower Stone to Helgen (and vice versa) 3-4 times in total should get you to 100 destruction. I'm actually kinda surprised it works.
This works perfectly just used it to get to 100 destruction easily. Just make sure you have the aniversery edition or the required creation club content to unlock the spells needed for it. Very important to pick a remote location and also it can make your followers angry so recommend doing this solo.
I’m on survival mode. But this is an awesome exploit. It might be possible to cast it in a cave and use the fast travel glitch in survival mode by opening map quickly after exiting, but I don’t like to do this in my play-through of survival. Or maybe using call dragon and bend will to fast travel, but I don’t know if it will work as I don’t know if casting on a dragon is possible.
I found a way!!! It won’t let you cast the Unbounded storms spell. However, if you equip the spell in both hands, hold down L2/R2, hold it till the magicka bar runs out, wait an hour, and repeat this process you will see the progression. (Note: it may take longer to get to level 100 thank you, and do it somewhere there is nobody lurking around.) The Welsh Wizard for this video it was funny as it was awesome.

Funny you mention swimming is faster than running. My friend was showing me this game a couple months ago. Every time I started running into the woods and would encounter something, he was like "oh crap bro, RUN THE OTHER WAY".....I got scared of even going in the woods, being a noob without basic functions figured out....and so I started swimming a lot. I got a lot done. And didnt have to worry about threats. Except for my friend. "Why are you swimming so much bro?".....I told him it was faster anyhow, but he told me I couldnt "pick flowers and stuff" that way. In different words, but that was what I heard. Now I get what he was griping about, but I still feel like I had a decent handle on it even then.
You do also have to be aware of slaughterfish and mud crabs in the waters though, but they’re nowhere near as bad as bears and the like. Swimming is also an effective way to pick up a lot of fish for use as ingredients in Alchemy
@@theWelshWizard Its not true in the anniversary edition I guess, but on my older version on 360, you can tell where the cyrodilic spintail, histcarp, river betties and abecean longfin are at just by looking at where the dartwings are at. Its pretty consistent, 2 or 3 dartwings per spot, and each spot with dartwings usually always has a variety of those 3 kinds of fish.
Tysm, I was trying to make a low health all around mage build, I have 40 health because vamp to make it challenge, I was trying to make all mage skills 100 and destruction was one I am struggling with.
hey I've got a question about lock picking, can you constantly pick a master lock for the same amount of experience? and is there any way aside form picking hundreds of locks to level it fast?
Once a lock has been picked it can’t be re-picked, but you can constantly fail the lock-pick to level up slightly but that’s a lot slower than actually being successful. There is another way I know that is probably the fastest method to reach 100 Lock-picking, but I won’t be able to share it for a couple of weeks - stay tuned!
Is this only accessible to the anniversary edition? I can't find the tome in the chest when i visited the hob cave. Im playing the old version btw. Thank you

So if you travel a shorter distance will it level lower? I'm currently doing a destruction mage build after religiously doing a sneaky marksman/two handed brute. I don't want to level at 100 right away.. I just want to level faster. 😩I don't want to risk messing up any quests in the game. Some of them are already so buggy.
That’s correct, the shorter the distance fast travelled, the less you’ll level up and vice versa. This exploit shouldn’t have any implications with other quests either
Not sure what's wrong. I went to Hob's Fall Cave, cleared the cave out and raided every chest in there. No spell tombs. Yes, I do have the Anniversary Edition.
Make sure you have downloaded and installed Arcane Accessories. If you have the Anniversary Edition, you still have to download and install the new content
@@theWelshWizard That I have done and everything is enabled in my load order. I finally got upset enough that I dug around in the game with a utility that enables you to grab items from installed esp's. Now I got the spell books!
This doesn't need anniversary edition, if you go to creation club and for some reason you have 100 cc points, you can get arcane accessories and do this this same thing on special edition

@theWelshWizard that absolutely sucks cause it's already gonna take hours to do any one of the skills, if only that deadric book you could get could still be infinitely used, then it'd be a sinch to max everything out.
I'm having an issue where it stopped giving me levels for fast traveling while doing this. I haven't changed anything but it gave me about 3-4 levels per fast travel. But it stopped leveling me after the third try. Any help?
That’s strange, not really sure why it would stop working all of a sudden 🤔 even though this exploit works with the Unofficial Patch, try uninstalling that if you have it enabled
