What's the point of even playing Skyrim multiplayer without friends? I thought the whole deal was so you can play with your best mate that also likes to play Skyrim. I always imagined Skyrim online to be like a Borderlands 4 player co-op adventure.
Didnt bethesda already have ESO? They dont need to createe a online elder scrolls game if they already have one Also the game that they should have and focussed more made is Elder Scrolls 6 Online survival games made by bethesda is unacceptable
In the olden days when communicating in games was hard or nonexistant, the standing hop and the crounch bounce were the basic human communications which first emerged.
Legitimately though, this is one of the most amazing things I've seen. Roving around Skyrim, a place I know like the back of my own damn hand, with a friend? It's legitimately an incredible thing to see happening.
Only the skse function won't sync, for exemple you still can use campfire mod but everyone will need to place his because the spawning of it won't appear on other people screen, additionally eventually mod maker will be able to sync their mods from what i know (though it probably won't be before a long long time)

@@TheStrayHALOMAN Not gonna lie, seeing this kind of makes me sad... shows you that the only things they actually improved were the paraphernalia; framerates, lighting, water graphics, etc. Not to say those things aren't important either, but damn... you expect more from such successful devs with such massive timeframes in between releases.
@@thegamesforreal1673 Yeah, these games built one hell of a community that takes care of them though. Even made a new engine just to keep them playable and fresh for the modern era of gaming. You should see the graphics overhauls for Morrowind using it.
I'm not a supporter of Bethesda, but the role of creating Fallout 76 was basically shafted to their B team with a huge time crunch, while they work on things like the next Elder Scrolls and Starfield
I think fallout 76 would've been better if the game had 16 times less detail, old rendering, lighting, and landscape technology, a map 4x smaller than fallout 4, and for it to be the mediumest one yet..

@@subzero308 its all about money ofc, but still they could also give us a free area to players that have the game and a members only area. So you need then membership to use new skills / emotes / quests / areas /items / minigames etc. for members only for example. The same as other games do. Runescape has for example bonds which is a item that you could activate for membership into the game, but you also could pay it for real money to get membership and sell it to other players to convert it for in-game coins which is good against gold farmers. Since you also could trade together your stuff.

@Kam but it's made by bethesda in the same engine, so skyrim gameplay would end up similar. Also the entire story is centered around one character, multiplayer would never work without remaking everything which takes years. Just go play elder scrolls online, it's the closest you will ever get. And I hope you realize elder scrolls 6 is not going to have multiplayer either.
@Kam I know what it is, it barely functions and it's a community mod. I don't think you really know what you are talking about, skyrim is not supposed to be multiplayer. The only reason skyrim together works is because it's been in development for years, but most of the developers have left and the current team is struggling at the moment. It does not function correctly as an RPG, it is just something to mess around in. You can not play the entire game as intended with multiplayer.
@Kam if it's that easy to make it work you should do it then buddy. It takes a lot of time to make creation kit do these things it's not made to do. Bethesda did not make Skyrim together, a team of modders did. They are doing it in their free time without being paid to do it, they have already said they can't and won't make the mod for console. You can't blame bethesda lol.
@Oxnard Darcy I wouldn't worry too much. Fallout 76 was a rush job, multiplayer was never going to work on bethesdas engine. Tes6 has been in development for such a long time, and it's bethesdas baby, I reckon it'll be solid.
I really think Bethesda should learn from this and re-release Skyrim for Xbox series X (and maybe PS5) with an even better engine, some balancing and built-in multiplayer. Name it Skyrim Ultimate Edition or whatever, I would buy it again.
If they added Coop online in skyrim I would gladly buy it again for 40$ I have alot of friends who would actually buy it again just for Skyrim together to be on Xbox.

I'm just glad you guys are still around. ESO and Fallout 76 are a major failing because what most folks want is something closer to a game of D&D rather than another MMO. We want to party up with some friends, not grind instances, that's not what TES is good for.
It would be cool if you could decide your roleplaying, example you are the dragonborn and your friend decides to be your follower, he doesn't get the main quest line but some side quest and join you in the adverture and other friends could be leaders of factions-guilds. That would be role fiendly also
Tried this with a friend a month or two ago. The only issues we had was certain dungeons or caves not allowing multiplayer. Disconnecting the players as soon as you entered a cave. It was well documented, but some of it we found didn\t work even though the document said they would and vice versa. But, all in all it was fun, even though we did experience disconnecting and NPC helpers becoming aggressive to either one of the players for no apparent reason.

Don't waste your time with trying out Skyrim Together yet... me and my friends spent 3 days setting this up to work... port forwarding was a mess... syncing mods was a mess... and then the mod itself was a disaster. Only thing that seems to work is actually seeing your friends; we experienced dysncing issues, animations not matching, enemies not appearing for eachother, quests entirely breaking including the very first one of just walking to Riverwood and crashing to desktop. I would not waste your time setting Skyrim Together up or even attempting to make a server in the current state of this disaster of a "multiplayer" mod. Wait at least until they can get more than just players syncing up.... because in it's current state this review is not showing real gameplay. Also your saves will corrupt pretty much on a daily basis ontop of all these issues.
IMAGINE IF ESO FALLOUT 76. We're replaced with a PC exclusive. Fallout 4 SE SkyRim AE. Private server CO-OP EDITION. Mod compatible and 10gb limit. Realistic 8 player limit for free hosted servers. And A ability to purchase custom hardware server's for home or business. To increase mod and player limits.
Just imagine, a party with a beefy heavy armor frontline, an assasin roaming around the main conflict, a light support behind like an archer/light fighter/destrution-based mage, and a crowd control wizard with Ilusion-Alteration magic, like call to arms and paralyz, with some Restoration stuff as well.

Don't use Hamachi, that thing is a security risk. It can also cause a weird glitch where your computer thinks it has no internet connection, can't identify your router even though it can see it (both ethernet & wifi), but can still somehow connect... beyond that I don't know more about the subject (at least currently), but Hamachi is seriously a bad risk on your computer. So please, don't use it...
I remember back in the day they were receiving dozens of thousands of dollars on patreon, and they delayed the mod the furthest that they could. After so long, when it finally did launch, it was terrible, way too buggy and pretty much the same problems as the old mod. The memes on the sub-reddit were funny though.
It would be amazing playing with a friend going every where exploring the map , fighting bosses togheter, why didn't Bethesda think about a multiplayer story 😐
"Skyrim SE Together" is by far the best, My wife and I very much enjoy playing this mod "Together". So far I haven't had a lot of issues with mods not working while playing Together as long as the mods are tested out offline before launching Together. If it works during a solo game then it should work while player Together.
I'd love to see Bethesda work with the modders to make something like this more stable but as I don't want them doing anything other than working on ES6, I hope that at least an (optional) 2-4 player co-op feature is built directly into ES6. On that note, I hope they've been paying attention to the things that modders make and the community really like, things like Campfire, iNeed, Frostfall, Open Cities, modern 3rd person cameras, modern combat, and so on and they build those into the game proper so that they function better.
I was just playing this with my friend last night. Took us 6 hours to set up but was WORTH IT. Got a multiplayer kill in SKYRIM. He also gave me coronavirus with a spell so most battles were over pretty quick. We tried to do Dawnguard but it didn’t work quite right. He didn’t end up getting many of the quest markers although Serana liked him better.
@@procha7928 uh oh somebody likes special edition but no, normal edition actually had good mods that were not available for special edition, I think one mod like Ultimate Combat? I made this decision like 5 years ago so they probably ported it to special edition. also i ain't a furry and sex mods are dumb you can just do that irl but don't worry bro, i've heard that there are a lot of giant feet and furry sex mods for special edition, too!

'Skyrim Together' Looks good. But I feel a lot of people use Mods (even if it's only a few), that require using SKSE and so on...so really, unless you can use SKSE, I'm not sure I would use this Mod. That's a shame, not the end of the World.... But being able to play a Game I have put the most time into of any Game, in the last 23ish Years of playing Videogames, of my 31 Year Life, with Friends and/or my Lass, would be awesome.... Also it would mean I wouldn't have to (this is personal take on this so whatever...) waste time and Money, to get the full ESO experience, just to do the same. Hopefully, anyways....those behind this Mod, update it to include SKSE support and yeah, also fix the issues, here and there...as much as you can with the slightly buggy (at times) Game, that Skyrim can be. i'm not upset at all, but the breakneck pumpfake of going from "Skyrim Together is best enjoyed with mods" to "as long as they don't require SKSE - the most required mod on the entire Nexus" was absolutely blistering. 😂😂
Why don't they just add co-op or at least 1-4 players and 1-8 players depending on your PC, my opinion they already have open world and from what I experienced it's very repetitive but later on you just get overwhelmed with everything. Besides we have mods that make NPC's more challenging, stronger, and intelligent and it's not like I'm gonna go up to every single gamer/player and say hey let's become friends... it should at least be a complete separate option... I'm also running 480 mod's ATM and open world is basically gonna shoot me down. If there is a co-op or something like this I would like to know because It's what I thought it was gonna be when Elder Scrolls Online came out but it was very different, it was good but it should've been a option between open world/co-op/single player. If it was mentioned in the video above, my Closed Captions was not working unless you speak alien, lol. I'd prefer playing with a couple or small group of people that I know or get to know depending on there personality rather than playing with randoms. Ty & farewell gamer's.
We may never see Reborn. Keep that in mind. A developer on discord essentially stated "It's open source but no one is helping". The mod is good if you stick with dungeon delving and wandering around which is a lot of the game. Grab and go quests are fine also. Anything scripted is going to break. Esp multi part quests that rely on NPCs to move or perform actions in sequence. It's not even a question They WILL break. There's a lot of bugs but most are funny rather than game breaking. The scripted stuff you have to solo or noclip follow the quest holder which sucks. Esp for guilds. It should go without saying but the more players the more weird shit, bugs and tedious the whole experience gets.
I wish ESO was a lot like Better Together. Skyrim had better graphics and was way less buggy, but with ESO it's like they intentionally made it shit to drive people away from Skyrim because Bathesda prefers making Fallout stuff.
I haven't played this mod in a long time, so i don't know if this is fixed... but i just want them to fix duping guards. that would be very nice if they could fix that... i don't care if dragons are de-synced.. but i just want toe duping guards to be fixed...
