Studios can't put out games specifically for ultra-high end PCs, it's not very profitable. That's why you don't see this craziness yet. Also most AAA studios are bogged down by red tape that talented individuals can rarely stretch their abilities.
Me too! And what's weird is that I've consumed so much Talk Over Playthrough content I don't typically like Just Game footage anymore, its odd. But this? This I could.
imagine if someone gathered all the highly talented modders and made an rpg with them as the supporting team, it would probably be the greatest roleplaying experience of all time

I like that even in a perfectly pristine, next-gen experience, it's still somehow impossible to escape the "I heard they're reforming the Dawnguard" blather.
Я успел состариться, играя в Skyrim, пока он становился всё лучше и лучше, благодаря модам. И вот пришло время, когда он перестал быть мне интересен, как с модами, так и без них.) Но смотреть на красоту всегда приятно для глаз...
This makes me wanna go build a PC just to experience this 😭 I only have 56 hours logged on my PlayStation, first ever play through of Skyrim but damn this gets me hyped to see that people can do stuff like this ✍🏽
@user-dl5pi6cx2y Well, yes, but at the same time they are working with a vision that already exists and molding it into theirs. In other words, they had the bandwidth to actually be able to focus on these finer details rather than focusing on everything else the original devs did. To say that devs work without passion for their games is a bit too much.
This is by far the most impressive modlist I have ever seen, everything just works together so well and it even runs well, hopefully you can share your full modlist one day.
Player voice lines make it harder to immerse yourself in the game through different playthroughs. It's boring when your evil khajit assassin sounds exactly the same as your heroic warrior nord
Highly recommend checking out ElmoRim modlist, in my opinion, It's has the smoothest combat in modded Skyrim and plus it's doesn't have stylish anime flashy stuff.
@@searas4227 I see, but it's not like the mods in this turned the combat to be exactly like dark soul, it reminds me more of the new assassin's Creed games and dragon dogma. It's still the same hack and slash like vanilla Skyrim but more stylish.
@@searas4227 Individual preferences and target demographics are important factors. Plus, these are mods, which are generally made for free an in massive quantities. If you don't want it, don't get. It's literally that simple. What's the real problem here?
This is a game that will never get old. The modders for this game is still just as passionate. Oh, and that new flying mechanic looks so freaking cool.
Problem is... Not only the modlist, you also need to know how he tweaked it, i would ask him to upload everything already set up to a drive folder and download it fully set up, but i know that it's harder than copy paste hahahaha
@@xSyn_ Problem is this one uses NOLVUS which isn't on Nexus, it actually has it's own installer now (I don't know how uploading collections works, but I assume it wouldn't with this one) And honestly the collections that are on there are mostly mid 😪 aside from the Immersive collection that guy puts in work man, I might look into making collections myself just for the fun of it 🤔 and to give more options lol
This seriously is stunning, the hidden talents found throughout the world and to think these people weren’t the ones put onto the development teams for RPGS. Wild
@@eyelesscrow69 Yeah I'd say time and money limitations are mostly what keeps these big companies from doing stuff like this. Also limiting your game to being able to be played on older gen consoles, etc.
@@lockekappa500 and the worse part is, if you let these devs do they job and let them show their creativeness, you would have games that would last for years instead of having pump and dumps, only problem is that if want this to change we have to force companies to change by not buy a product... but no one will ever do that.
yea but have to take into account that skyrim came out in 2011 no other game had these graphics then! skyrim still back then won countless awards for best graphics during its time! and still is timeless with the scenery! Ahead of its time for sure!@@eyelesscrow69
Wow, just adding voice to your own character's words is an extraordinary improvement to the immersion and joy of this game... even without the graphics upgrades.
I can see where some would appreciate it. I didn't hate it in Fallout 4. But I would prefer non voiced mc. For me it detracts from immersion and replay value.
@@Pwnopolisreally depends on the voice acting quality, if it's annoying and trash like forsbroken then I would rather have silent Mc but if it is the quality of rdr2 then I would definitely choose that
Nah, voices can be so hit or miss, because it shoehorns you down a certain vibe. Unspoken dialog that you can read however your head pictures it will always be better, since it's limitless and won't conflict w/ any RP you might have for your character.
@@T8-TR My preference is voice acting for my character. For me, it fills the space and makes the gaming experience feel more alive. Whereas playing a silent character feels empty and less personally engaging to me. However, I could see that changing for me if I a play an RPG game that incorporates these language model AIs that let you speak into the microphone your own words. Either way, as long as you can select the option or install a mod that lets you have it your way, like this channel is showing, then I'm happy.
I played Skyrim over and over again when it came out in 2011. I tried doing mods when they became available, which improved the game so much but not to this level. I got fed up of trying to organise the mod list so they didn’t crash the game. This is like a whole new game. I only wish there are different voice actors for NPC characters because the same voice makes the immersive gameplay less appealing. The inclusion of AI followers has changed the game too. I think they only had five voice actors when they made Skyrim. I love the animation upgrades in this too. A whole new game.
Personnaly I really don't like the art style, it looks like a J-RPG or something... and completely ruins the base game atmosphere. Also I hate the HDR look (messed up dark zones and shadows) especially at 6:04 and the fact everyting is oversharpened. With that said, it's amazing what you can do with mods! Shout out for the modders for the final result! Definitely looks like a different game aaaaand... it's free so we can't complain anyway!
@@MasoMathiouis modelled a lot after Elden Ring which goes back to the ol' saying. Elden Ring is the game that every modder wishes they could mod Skyrim into.

@@WoutervanderMeulen It really isn't. Dota, the original, was made completely free by folks who were just passionate about it. As soon as you make that leap to "turn it into a business" everything changes, because suddenly you have to calculate how you spend every minute of your time. You may have spent weeks working on one tiny, insignificant thing when it was just for funsies because you really wanted that thing, but when it is a business, you gotta say "is it really worth it spending all this time on this one thing that most probably won't even appreciate?". You start cutting corners, catering to the common denominator and trying to maximize appeal and target audience. EVERYTHING changes once money gets involved. Thats why you should never loan money to friends or family, because it can fuck up relationships. D&D is getting real bad about it too unfortunately. Once upon a time, dungeon masters ran game purely for the love and joy of it, but now you have more assholes trying to make a living off DMing than those doing it for fun. Everyone trying to hustle everything. Instead of long campaigns lasting a year or 2 in a homebrew world with an original story, these rent-a-DMs just run adventure modules over and over and over, multiple times a week. It becomes a passionless chore. Damn shame. Money only hurts things, it doesn't make them better. Take any number of niche things that get remade for a larger target audience to maximize profits that the soul is completely sucked out of, there are countless examples.
Modding and game development is just very, very different. The three biggest differences is 1: When modding, you only need to be conserned with what YOU want, and enjoy, nothing else. When developing a game, you have to consider how to make it enticing to not just play, but also pay for. 2: Consumer base doesn't matter, when you are modding. If only 1 out of 300 000 of players can actually play your mod, it doesn't matter. You made it for you. However, when you're selling a game, cutting out 1 out of 300 000 people, due to choosing HD textures, or higher polygon count does suddenly matter, a lot. If instead of 4k textures, you went with 1k, and 1 out of 5000 could play your game, that's potentionally 60 times more customers than before, that's big. 3: For AAA especially, anything that you want added to a game, has to be approved, often by multiple people, and if it gets approved, it usually gets changed beyond recognition of what you originally wanted to add. It's somewhat a case of "too many cooks in the kitchen" scenario. Which is partly how you get things like Starfield (Bethesda is somewhat complicated, due to their past). A lot of game devs, were or currently are, modding, hence it's not as black and white as people seem to think it is. Modding became a big thing in BG2, in part due to the devs themselves being heavily involved in the modding community, and releasing mods to make changes to the game in their spare time. Hell, Jsawyer mod for New Vegas is an perfect example of this exact thing. Sawyer had it in him, to make New Vegas towards what the hardcore fans want, he choose not to, due to the risks of alianating a lot of people, it was safer to design New Vegas to be closer to Fallout 3 in difficulty\design, and so he did.
When you have a bad game so modders have to completely revamp and change everything for it to be equivalent to other modern releases, it’s sad that bethesda gets praised while the modders do so much more
I am entirely jealous of this modlist and the god tier computer you must be running it on. I'm really gonna have to get back into Skyrim on PC now, aren't I.
@kingoftheskulls9376 sadly yes, but no. I have a 3080, so I was thinking more advanced ends too.. But this goes to show what OPTIMIZATION and care and all that jazz can do.
Low-mid. Have to take into consideration the 10 series are low. 20 series is scraping by mid. And 30 series are there. Bur also keep into mind that CPU and other components drastically affect and change them
Just want to say thanks for the modlist. Been using this for the last week to build my game and it's a ton of fun, doesn't even feel like the same game sometimes 😁
When she start flying, I'm like what the hell. Gives me goosebumps. I wish the modding community for Fallout 4 will be as strong as the modding community of Skyrim...
@user-dl5pi6cx2y Starfield modding is gonna go crazy, It will certainly be bigger than Fallouts Bigger than Skyrim tho? Starfields foundation is already solid, it's gonna go crazy.
@@MVPMTKING The game sucks though. Im actually playing fallout again because of how bored of starfield i got. Ill pick it up again in a year or so when the mods make it a good game
Very cool, often see the same style of showcases attempting to make the game more like an anime, with the hyper stylized 3rd person combat, but never showcasing better 1st person animations from character pov. Hearing the character voice acting is really cool, never seen a mod for that yet in over 10 years!
Geez, when I clicked on this video I was not expecting this to be as amazing as it is! The visuals are stunning; a true 'next gen' feel! The main character design, along with the NPC remodels are fantastic! The combat overhaul is so fluid and exciting; exactly the kind of upgrade Skyrim needs. And that dragon fight in the fog... pure cinema! Well done!
I’m not a die hard Skyrim fan but I remember my Skyrim phase as a kid and this looks amazing?? I thought it was a new Skyrim but wow these mods are crazy. I really enjoy playing in 3rd person and the characters movements and stuff are so fluid/realistic. Like the characters hair wowoow.

@@RicochetForce Yep. Also we have the problem that PC Games has to be technically shit because of the Xbox and Playstation market. All has to be of the almost same graphic level doesn´t matter if you have a PC that has 4x the power of that crap consoles. That is a very big problem aswell. Fuck market politics.
Because... Skyrim came out in 2011. These mods are all mostly modern. Computing technology is a lot better. Skyrim was built by 100 people. Many of these mods required teams to work on them as well. Thousands of modders devoted their time to making every mod in this 1k+ mod list. A better question to ask would be, why don't all these modders make their own game like Skyrim? The answer to that is making a game from scratch is a lot harder than making a mod for an already finished game.
because these mods are thousands of separate things added together. Each mod creator wasn't worried about it clashing with other mods to the extent a dev team is. Each mod creator could hyper-focus on it and not have to worry about time or deadlines.
@@TeamTrumpCGN This was the dumbest thing anyone has said. The console market pushes gaming forward, especially in the graphics department, and again, games that look this good wouldn't work on ALL setups, so there would still be restrictions. Hell, a lot of PC exclusive games do NOT push the boundary of graphics as far as gaming goes. The most graphically impressive games to have dropped have been on console.
I already installed Novus for my game, am I able to manually change it to your settings or do I have to go through the whole installation process again to get to those steps to change it to yours?
