Need a mod that just ends your dragonborn quest here and you start your fulltime job as a chef for the emperor. You go on quests to find herbs and just cook. Sounds like a relaxing game.
@@OmniZero1178 i don’t think so. The door to get in is unlocked by the cook and is probably locked again when you ho in. Also the door to exit is locked until the emperor dies.
@@OmniZero1178 I’ve tried the alternate route of using plates to clip through doors and escape. The door you go in and the door you exit from are both locked unfortunately. they didn’t really give us many options for this quest.
I put the poison away in a container by accident or something, just made the finest damn soup in skyrim worthy of the gourmet and was stuck for about 10 mins trying to figure out what I'm doing next...
Just give him glasses of lake water until he shits himself to death… The more he drank, the more he shat, and the more he shat, the thirstier he became.

Fun fact: if you keep the poison ingredient and eat it yourself, it immediately kills you…. You can also make a potent poison that can kill the ebony warrior in one hit 😅
No... It kills you if you don't have a set number of hit points. Don't remember how many HP I had because I tested it on 2 different characters. Once, with a character that didn't have a whole lot of hp and one that was a tank. And I had to pop a dual heal spell to keep from dying. But I barely survived.
*Proceeds to shout the emperor to death* Dragonborn - "what? You thought it was gonna be subtle? I kill dragons and transform into a fucking werewolf, subtly was never an option"

Anyone who doesn't attempt to duplicate the root is a fool. The devs cursed the item so it could not grow, but we found a way to synthesize it like the heart shaped herb in Wakanda

You're the first person I've ever had ask me and would be happy to tell you to just drop the Jarrin Root outside your house in Breezehome and have your follower pick it up, then you immediately turn around and then come back out and boom it should be there on the ground and in their inventory. I kid you not, make a habit of dropping a LOT of gear on the ground when you enter any major city or fast travel and have your follower pick it up. You'll find tons of goodies constantly surprising you when you return
This is available just in case you want to keep the poisonous root to use later on, if I recall correctly it's used to make the strongest poison in the game.
@@elianrodriguez7318 ate it once and spammed health potions...was dead in mere seconds. Damn straight it is the strongest it is almost instantaneous and never stops.
I always found it funny when he says Potage le Magnifique for the English game and says the exact same thing in the French game, where pure English people might not know what it translates to yet to French people the soup is just called the Magnificent soup lol
It allows you to keep the Jarrin Root which can be used to create the strongest poison in the game, capable of killing legendary dragons in one shot if you prepare it right.
I once was eating just about everything in my inventory to get an idea on what alchemy stuff I can do since I’d never done alchemy ever before. Didn’t notice the jarrin root until my health started crashing fast

This is giving me Way of the Househusband vibes. (If you haven't seen it, check it out). The Dragonborn decides to settle down to a life of domestic bliss in Solitude, working part time as a chef on the side. He tends to the home while Ysolda brings home the gold. He has a rivalry with that guy who opened a bakery across the street, you know the big guy with the dark complexion, and scales and wings. He used to feed on souls, but now he's gone vegan but he's still insufferable.
I get he was just a decoy, but they didn’t think to give him some kind of cupbearer? Like the guy who tastes the food literally to make sure it isn’t poisoned
Imperials are based off romans and their names are often Latin or from roman-descending countries like Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Romania. It kinda makes sense.
I made the Emperor a perfectly good soup, when suddenly the Emperor's guards attacked and murdered him, then proceeded to pin it on me, who was on the other side of the room, putting away my Fury spell. I was framed, I tell you!
Realistically, kings and emperors had poison testers for this exact reason. The tester would eat first, then after 5 minutes everyone else would eat. They were paid well since it's dangerous and they're protecting them with their own life :')
@@JarlChris that and the quests not in the main line of the Dark Brotherhood i mean shit it would be fun to get hired to kill random people in very fun, hidden, unseen and non-violent ways. Hidden being ways that you find out for yourself not just being unseen
I actually did that a couple times because I wanted to see what would happen shame nothing happens actually though you have to manually kill him to progress the mission

That Jarrin Root is absolutely insane, got a shtload of it from the cheatroom mod as its in the ingredients chest. Poisons made with it do over 3,000 damage.

That chef girl gets killed if you poison him, and you also lose the jarrin root. So its a lose lose situation. Keep the jarin root and assassinate the fake emperor some other way.
What is kind of weird that not many people would have gotten the chance to experience. Is that if your playing as an Imperial during either this quest or the other areas in quest for ruining the wedding. The Captain of the Emperor's Elite Guard the Oculatus. Will confront you on the bridge of the tower on your escape route. He will have a unique dialog mentioning that he knows who your family is from Cyridel, most mentioning something about your "Brother" from back home. I can't remember the full dialog for this moment as it's been many years since I played skyrim as an Imperial at least 2015-2016?. Currently playing as a Nord at the moment though.

Congrats on this short blowing up, also ya I've not poisoned the emperor before, then just use a bow, also most people don't know that the root they give you is actually the most potent alchemy ingredient in skyrim. You can one shot pretty much anything with it
Thanks it's really cool counting it was my first short as well. Also the root is seriously powerful. It's a shame you can only obtain one with out glitches/console commands.

Would’ve been cool that if u didn’t poison him, you could ease drop off some info about the legionaries and how they found the brotherhood hideout. The next goal would be to kill off the group of legionaries preparing to torch the sanctuary, in tern saving all the brotherhood, and moving them to the dawnstar sanctuary, you would still find out who sold you out. Ultimately this would change the course of the Dark Brotherhood Series Of Events, but I feel like it would be more impactful and story driven.
I chose all of the bad choices, so the taste will not kill him, but he will do the deed himself; as he can no longer bare the horrible taste that he can not remove from his food hole. 😈
That's the other downside to skyrim. They give you many options, but the outcome is always the same. Love the game and wish if you didn't poison the impostor emperor. The guards get confused wondering where the assassin is as they were told he would be there. Revealing someone sniched on you and open up an alternate quest of you trying to figure out the traitor avoiding the dark brotherhood base from being destroyed.
