Four gorgeous choices. Thank you for the recommendations, and please post more. My SkyTrak arrives in 10 days. Can't wait.

I finally got all the components in place and had it fully functional a couple of weeks ago. Interestingly, my first choices were courses I've played (St. Andrews, Wolf Creek, Pebble, TPC Scottsdale, Thanksgiving Point, and a couple of others) before the courses I haven't played. The first of the courses I've never played was Augusta National - uh, I mean Firethorn. The next of those was TPC Sawgrass. The reason I delayed playing Augusta was that I wanted to be comfortable with the technology and become familiar with my distances before my first time on Augusta. I've played every day since setting it up, and often have a couple of my golfing buddies over. My experience is that it takes about one hour per person per 18. So, when my two usual golf friends come over, a round takes about three hours (which I find fascinating, since we can play a real round in about that amount of time if the course is clear. And that is walking.) Anyway, thanks so much for all of your videos on SkyTrak and TGC - it's been exceptionally useful as I've set up my garage sim.

Great stuff.. When my buddy's came over we set 10ft gimmies on the greens to speed things a long a bit. Glad your enjoying it. Playing Firethorn the week of the masters is 👌

Does anyone make any courses that are proper crazy? Like a rainbow road from mario kart or something? or position it so you bounce the ball of multiple house roofs and down big slopes or something. Something crazy

If you're only concerned with eye candy courses then I would agree those are stunning, however, as in most eye candy designs, no consideration at all has been given to the golfer who does not hit the ball 300+ yards off the tee and shoot scratch all the time. The first thing you need to look at is not the eye candy, but the distances on the scorecard for the various tee sets starting with the total overall length of the 18 hole layout. If those numbers only vary by say 200 yards from one set to the next, it means that the tee boxes overall only vary by about 10 yards per hole. Which means no matter which set of tees you play, you might as well play from the tips. If you'd like to talk to me about my 'fair play' design style... I'd be more than happy to elaborate.

Yes this video was based on the aesthetic values. I dont have the sim anymore so I am not up to date with any new courses.

@@ScratchAt50 sorry to hear you no longer have the sim. Hope you're still able to hit the course from time to time.
