Turkish airlines flights are excellent until it's Africa bound (especially Nigeria) Turkish airlines would intentionally fly very old and rickety airplanes to and from Nigeria. March 27 2024; a Turkish airlines flight from LAGOS - ISTABUL. The power on the plane went out about 4 times. Such an old plane that had an Ethernet cord and the headphones jack was what you use for wired microphones. I don't think it's right to risk the lives of your passengers just so you can cut cost. There is a visa-free regime between the countries in both directions. A grandmother with a 4-year-old child was flying. In the end, they were let through by border guards, but at the boarding gate they were told that they were Russians and needed a visa, and were not allowed on the plane. The child was crying, he was indifferently pushed away. They had to wait all night at the airport. Expensive tickets were lost, and they also had to buy return tickets. This is the height of indifference and violation of international agreements! Be very careful when buying tickets from them!

WORST, DISGRACEFUL AIRLINE AND CUSTOMER SERVICES. Overbooking, delay, no support, dismissive attitude, creating hurdles for customers from getting the entitled compensation….Think a thousand times before believing in their advertisements. Look at all the bad reviews and comments. I didn’t believe the bad comments until I experienced them myself!

Дорогие друзья, всех, кто читает этот пост и путешествует компанией «Turkish Airlines», хочу предупредить о вопиющем поведении авиакомпании. Мои родственники, граждане Республики Беларусь, 8 августа летели в Македонию, имея на руках оригинал официального приглашения. Между странами безвизовый режим в обе стороны. Летели бабушка с ребенком 4 лет. В итоге их пропустили пограничники, а на посадке сообщили, что они русские, и им нужна виза, и не пустили в самолет. Ребенок плакал, его равнодушно оттолкнули. Им пришлось ждать всю ночь в аэропорту. Пропали дорогущие билеты, так еще и пришлось покупать билеты обратно. Это верх безразличного отношения и нарушения международных договоренностей! Будьте очень осторожны, покупая у них билеты!

Turkish Airlines is a very bad airline. I traveled by it from Delhi Airport to Sau Paulo but they broke my bag and also took out US Dollars $1500 from my bag. This is the worst airline. I will never fly by it again. I will never fly by any other airline.

유료좌석 구매했는데 탑승구에서 맘대로 좌석변경하고는 지금 환불도 안해주고 있습니다. 올해안에 이용 가능한 운임 15%할인권 주겠다는데 웃기는 짬뽕이죠...귀국길에도 유효좌석을 구매했는데 의자 등받이가 고장났습니다. 컴플레인하니 힘주지 말랍니다.....9시간을.....ㅋㅋ 정말이지 다시는 이용하고 싶지 않은 항공사입니다...ㅡ.ㅡ

What ever you do, do not fly with Turkish air. They will bump you from your flights and rebook you on low cost partners. Their customer service is woeful. Do not book.

Terrible service, damaged luggage, to proceed they want a repair bill and proof of purchase.. WTF, you guys broke my luggage and now I have to pay for repair or replacement?
