Soul of Cinder is quite random for being an endgame boss. Based on which choice of weapon he pulls out it is a very different fight. Because of this it is quite challenging as you need to learn proper strategies for all the five weapons (sword, staff, curved sword, spear and greatsword). It took me more than 100 tries to succeed but overall it is a fun fight.
I used a +10 Raw Dragonslayer's Axe, Red Tearstone Ring, Lightning Clutch Ring, Knight's Ring and Hunter's Ring.
"SL1" or Soul Level 1 is a challenge type where the player is not allowed to level up at all. This creates a formidable challenge as such a character will be lacking the strength and dexterity required to wield more powerful weapons. A hitless run is a run where the player does not take any hits from the encounter.
