Hi, this is the exported version pobb.in/L8nxPBClJCpv. If you want more damage you can swap some of the armour / life / ES nodes to the minion critical cluster "Fearsome Force".
always be in front of him, like the video. its unintuitive because other bosses in ds3 especially large ones clearly reward you for being right up by their crotch but not midir. in front of him and hit the head, avoid going to the legs and that will give you some easy camera work - hope that helps!
Hardest SL1 for me was Champion Gundyr without parry, then Dancer, lol. Spent 2 weeks on each. Friede is great, though. She used to be my favorite human fight until the ER DLC.
Honestly, I wouldn't say they're the hardest to hitless, her attacks are well defined, almost had no troubles with it The hardest ones to, would rather be bosses with large AoE/extended attack effects (Gael's 3rd phase/Midir/Twin Princes, etc...) but well done! To me Friede is considered that hard just because of her popularity and the fact she has 3 phases, but other than that she's not even that hard
@@Athropod101 It's more like I prefer to fight dancer to get materials for +10 weapon than go through painting and friede. Friede is a great boss fight but difficult because I didn't have much practice and a long break. With midir I struggle to get in position and punish him despite knowing his attacks. Fun fact: if you play ds3 with fresh character on Ng+6 or 7 and use cheat engine to speed up game to 1.25, vordt is one hell of a fun battle. Do it offline tho, I got banned for it X)
Because of this chall I realized that after his 3rd dash signaling his 2nd phase you can interrupt his breath attack by hitting the head and force riposte on him. Most ppl just spam r1 behind him. Or while parrying gundyr, you have enough time to squeeze in 1 attack and then riposte.
Good timing. Im doing ds3 sl1 rn as well. Its a great time. I honestly love it. What I wont love is the dlc. But the dancer… and champion gundyr, oh my. I spent so many hours fighting champion gundyr. In the end I never finished my first run, so I set out to finish a new run. Im pretty sure I only had the twin princes and the last boss left though, and then the ringed city, but I completed sister friede’s boss fight.
@@grubhub5326 I can imagine a weapon with +5 Chaos with 10 humanity could work quite well as well. What do you suggest? I really only used Fire Reinforced Club and the Blacksmith Giant Hammer throughout my playthrough.
It's embarrassing to say but I struggled more on Gwyn than any other non DLC boss in SL1 DS1. Got Four Kings first try but this old man just wouldn't cooperate lol
Yeah, I guess it depends a lot on which attacks he uses. If he uses the overhead strike or the grab it's a lot easier than his faster attacks. Four Kings first try is pretty nice. I couldn't get the timing down on how to evade their homing projectiles so I ended up just facetanking it all using Havel's instead of doing hitless.
@@krkiya honestly at SL1 it's easier to dodge than it is to tank Four Kings, nicely done! If you use a maxed pyro flame and great combustion the kings go down pretty quickly
I haven't gotten to ER yet and probably going to try DS3 SL1 first. I can imagine some of the bosses there like Friede, SoC and NLK could be quite challenging as SL1.
@@krkiya I think DS3 might be the hardest for SL1. Friede is actually stupidly easy, though. SoC is quite difficult at SL1, and NLK isn't actually as bad as he sounds. I think you'll have a good time, regardless. Gael at SL1 is also quite difficult!
