Quick drive by compilation of my buddy's accord, apx an hour worth of footage cut up and edited, nothing crazy. Looking forward to making a better "vossen" style vid with some rolling shots and better equipment in the near future.
That is a gorgeous vehicle. I finally got the car i always wanted an 06 RSX-S and i would almost trade it for on of these coupe 6 speed of course, after seeing your car.
The car is about 3.25" lowered in the front and 3.5" rear. It is on fully adjustable coilovers made by Megan Racing EZ Series. Springs will lower your altima a bit but not that much, to go this low you need coilovers.
Its a nice car, it has nice lines and it has an aggressive stance that many find appealing. Can't you just like it? If you have the cash for your damn A4 or BMW then go get it and do what ever the hell you want to it, but I can assure you it will never see the Autoban or Laguna because it will be treading water on Americas boring 65 speed limit highways and byways... I think its more stupid to have a 300+ HP car and not be able to use any of it other then to pass a truck on the Hwy.
You have a point about the boring 65 MPH speed limits. There are places though where it can be driven. Not in the city but out on the freeway where traffic isn't so thick. Not too many of those places around though.
7 years later and you're still 100% correct, big fancy muscles cars or speeding European cars just to cut off 18 wheelers and then get pulled over by CHP. I just got a 2012 Accord coupe for 9K and i cant wait to add some good mods to it
I see you driving around all the time. This must be when you had your older TSW wheels. No idea how you havent damaged a wheel in these Erie pot-holes brah, respect I'm the guy with the red gen coupe dropped on varrstoens
Question this is the best look I have seen my daughter has one and this is the exact style we want where you have at least a 3" lip front and back please let know what type of rims you roll in on what size and how we can achieve that stance
hey whats that spoiler called the one behind your antenna? on top of the break lights. not the oem one but the one you have on top. it looks nice and im interested in getting one
FWD allows for a better packaging arrangment inside a car. When a car's engine is placed sideways, when there is no transmission bell housing, no driveshaft or rear differential, there is much more room inside a car. Hondas have alway been fwd even back in the early 1970s. Soon, Mercedes Benz will introduce a small 4 door car, with a front wheel drive arrangement.
ok so I have a 7th gen accord coupe v-6 6 speed I love the car its fast fun slammed and sexy but I gotta say im sooooo jealous f the 8th gen accords like yours they are gorgeous great job on yours man
agree 100% but FWD has come a looonnng way. the new accords drive by wire is so nice every time you pin the gas pedal from a dig you get the perfect launch. they also have a cpu controlled LSD, MacPherson Strut Front Suspension. and the fact you can get a 6 speed manual is dam nice.
This was my old setup , car is lowered on megan ez coilovers. Not sure of how much lower compared to stock it is. The wheels are 19x9.5 +40 offset with 20mm spacer in the back. Tires are 225/35/19.
I can think of two off hand, the S2000 and the NSX. Neither were considered main stream cars. FWD is still considered the best packaging arrangement for the most room in a given car.
