People say Slash is overrated...As a guitar player he fits very well what his music calls for...You have blues players ,Jazz players,country players.....He plays very well for what he is trying to convey....Comparing is very foolish...lots of fine guitar players.....just enjoy what they do.....All guitarist have their special talents.....and admire each other...that’s what makes it so important...it doesn’t get stale...Jeff Beck plays very different from say Eric Clapton...Yet on the beano album Beck might not sound as good ...each guy does something special....

He has such a calm soothing voice..😆 not necessarily what one would picture the "Slash" we see rocking some crazy tune on a stage...but I guess, he didn't have to use his voice, abuse his voice I should say, so it still sounds young. 😄 So Great! 🎸💕🎵🎶👏 Interestingly enough, I just found out, we both admired the musical gifts of artists such as Eric Clapton. My first rock concert. My first real concert I attended. On a given ticket by my sister...and when I was there I was like "where am I?..why all this older people here?..I thought it was a rock concert?.."..😂 granted I was the 14 yr old who had no clue who I was about to see...but when the show started, and it went ok, then I got it. And I was so blown away that I have been a Clapton fan ever since.😊 And whom it set my stardards to what rock concert, quality, and guitar playing should be like.... Then, of course, I discovered Slash, and Guns and Roses, as they freshly released Appetite for destruction...and I couldn't believe it!..my world was for ever changed ..🥰♥️🖤🎸🎵🎶
