LEGENDARY guitarist plays through any amp, even MG10 ( it is Marshall but weaker and smaller). Rip man . 🙏🙏 It is the best demo not only Slash style lesson, also Marshall MG 10.
Nice lesson and welcome back G! An ascending slash style blues lick up the neck would be awesome next, to help break out of that first pentatonic position and get down the neck.
Thanks for share it bro...I always wanted to discover some patterns that he use to play frequently.Love his style and you're the best to break this out.
I love when I just stumble upon a lesson that is EXACTLY what i've been wanting to improve on, without being able to put a name on it. I've been trying to get some idea of how these descending scales go together, and I just stumbled upon this
amazing lesson!!! I realy learned the slash solo techniqe I looked for. hoping you would post a video about the notes you play outside of the pentatonic scale and explain about tham(:
amazing videos! proving you dont need a super HD cam and 10 mics to make footage that greatly helps people's skills and feel! you giving me all the slashiness i could wish for without having to watch endless babbling! thanks man!
Hey man, your lessons are great! Just what I've been waiting for, really looking forward to implementing this technique in my playing. Keep up the great work!
He doesn't want to give you the exact notes, because it took him a long time to learn and figure things out. That's why he keeps saying no two people play alike.
@@TrebleMidBass omg that’s awful he’s such a good slash like player. And now we lost him... I’m definitely gonna learn all I can with these remaining videos. Rest in peace
I'd be very interested in hearing your methodology when it comes to tone shaping, from amp to amp. I know all too well after spending 2 years+ in music academia that the bass, mid and treble controls on the face of an amp have a tendency to perplex a lot of less experienced players. And while the subject of tone is mostly opinion based, there are almost certainly some dos and don'ts which I believe are a good thing for people to pick up on (e.g. scooping mids), as bad tone can have a direct impact on how well your instrument sits in the mix. Obviously I'm still speaking within this style of tone... We can leave the mid scooping to Kirk Hammet ;) Also, massive thanks for showcasing your great knowledge of the inner workings of this playing style to all of us here over the years!
It's a good one huh!?? ha. Keep coming back to the classics. Man he was so good! He's my favorite of the youtube slash guys, but a couple of the others we know are excellent as well. Gsharp just played the blues in a way that speaks to me.
@@slashtrio yes bro. I still rewatch Gsharp often. It’s very sad.. who knows what lessons he would’ve gave us. But yeah to a good thing we got these slash guys keeping the Gsharp legacy alive 🎩🎩💪🤘
