This the version that I am dancing with my daughter at her wedding reception, on July 30th... It's going to be epic, thank you Slash and Miles for this version...
I wish I could post the video... the whole crowd sang along... Hitting Sweet Child 'O Mine perfectly... Funny part as we're dancing during the intro my daughter goes, dang I forgot how long it is... Then she looks up at me before Miles starts signing and asks if I'm gonna sing along... Total hold my beer moment... Best song ever!
This confirm what amazing guitarist is Slash. Playing full solo in acoustic, even in a guitar without cutaway for reaching high notes. It doesn't matter if he missed some notes. Do you know how hard is to play a solo like this in acoustic? Amazing version!
me, been trying to solo this on acoustic for weeks now knows, it is very difficult due to the lack of string bending ability.I want to bend them hard but i dont wanna snap my strings
Parker Kenney He started in an interview that he didn’t hate, but rather wasn’t initially sold on the idea of that song because it didn’t conform to the sound or style of music they normally played.
@@monikaszymanowska5142 it's lesser than half, it would be for any vocalist if you used light head voice and falsetto for mid parts and avoided all high parts of the song.
Amo vcs dois!!!!! Os melhores, a voz do mylles faz uma sincronia perfeita com a guitarra do slash, meu DEUS que perfeição, apaixonada em vcs!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can just imagine slash’s worst day in his life: Slash’s son: hey dad, look what I just learned to play! *playing sweet child o’ mine in standard tuning* Slash: wait that’s illegal
TheRydog61 lol, i'm the tween. only a tween would follow the guy that plays one of the greatest songs of the former band, that he hated and never thought would be a hit, live with fergie and let her butcher it, follow the guy that lets a burger franchise use his name to promote a burger and then hire some dude to sing like the guy he claims he hated for the last 15 years so he can sing the songs from the band like the guy he claims he hates. but now that us original, true gnr supporters have to allow you new slash fanbois into the fold dont think it's going to be an easy ride.
I saw these guys in Perth, Australia in 2019. I'm a massive GNR fan for 29 years now. Slash with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators was phenomenal. I'm seeing GNR again on November for the fourth time.
I love this performance! It shows the real side of being a musician where little mistakes happen and not everything is so polished by big productions and also pushing the boundaries while playing. If you don’t make mistakes play something harder like this 🔥
I take electric guitar lessons from 3 years and those riffs and solos are my dreams. I can't imagine how Slash could miss a note of this famous song and remain so natural and divine! These behavior and cleverness are my goal and inspiration. 💕
She's got a smile that it seems to me Reminds me of childhood memories Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky Now and then when I see her face She takes me away to that special place And if I stare too long, I'd probably break down and cry Whoa, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Whoa, oh, oh, oh Sweet love of mine She's got eyes of the bluest skies As if they thought of rain I'd hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place Where as a child I'd hide And pray for the thunder and the rain to quietly pass me by Whoa, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Whoa whoa, oh, oh, oh Sweet love of mine Whoa, yeah Whoa, oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Whoa, oh, whoa, oh Sweet love of mine Whoa, oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Ooh, yeah Ooh, sweet love of mine Where do we go? Where do we go now? Where do we go? Ooh, oh, where do we go? Where do we go now? Oh, where do we go now? Where do we go? (Sweet child) Where do we go now? Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay Where do we go now? Ah, ah Where do we go? Oh, where do we go now? Oh, where do we go? Oh, where do we go now? Where do we go? Oh, where do we go now? Now, now, now, now, now, now, now Sweet child Sweet child of mine
ericynot you know nothing jon snow. probably born after use your illusion even came out. maybe read his book and see how much of a fuckwit this guy is.
+Jay B I was 38 when Appetite for Destruction was released with Sweet Child. I still have that CD. Only fuckwit I see around here is you. And I do not watch Game of Thrones.
@@steamyrayvaughn5635 in my opinion if you listen to early records Axl didn't use the full potential of his voice in the first half of the 80s. It's only in the second half, with AFD and UYI I&II especially (technically early 90s) that he really pushed his voice to a climax. Then by the end of the 90s till now it has always been going down.
Insanely hard to play this in acoustic-kudos to Slash for pulling it off with only a couple missed notes-I know people who have played for 30 years and can’t do it.
i am aware that axle and slash composed this song originally but my god myles kennedys voice is so great i mean......wow......and slash solo on acoustic guitar is the stuff of dreams
I am not so sure about that. The opening riff Slash came up with years before AFD and he always considered the riff a joke. Not until LA Guns and Hollywood Rose merged and Izzy Stradlin heard the riff and Izzy proceeded to built a song around Slash's riff. And from the books I read, while Izzy and Slash proceeded to expand on the riff, Axl was upstairs and penned the lyrics while listening. But in no way would I consider the Slash the architect of Sweet Child 'O Mine.
I watched him play live for 3 hours a and I was blown away by his playing ability and endurance. Richard fortis was equally impressive actually the entire band was on point even Axl
this has been my inspiration to practice sweet child o mine since i can't afford an electric guitar yet... been doing it on accoustic for a hella long time
