Problem I had with this was the fact that the entire basement furnace room was a a hell hole of body parts. Did the cops not do a search of the building where everyone is getting murdered?
@@ifacecamp717 also that the black lady didn't call for backup or at the very least one other person at the end. what kind of cop goes down a creepy fucking basement all alone?
season 3 is the best out of 4 imo killer was brutal, characters were obviously mean but they grew on to me, setting was something different and i liked it
Solstice definitely was a bit messy at times, but imo it was outweighed by the kills, the setting, and Angel and Dan finally becoming friends at the end (although Angel dies shortly after). 8/10 for me.
But why were Angel and Dan together in that room? Whyd the killer lure them there? Whyd the killer forget that they were in there right next to the furnace room? Howd the teenage killers get sleeping gas to put them out? Whyd the killer stick them together? What was the point of that whole sequence?
@@ifacecamp717 what I hate is people daily bullying and harrasing them world is so terrible for people like that I feel still even after they drove her mom to suicide. They are the one bad guys druid killers and they died but main racist alive
Season 3 was actually the strongest in many ways. It highlights real issues from racism and homophobia to social media and bullying. It calls guilt and justice into question. And the kills were great!
The whole purpose of Saadia being alive was to back Connor and Jen up so they wouldn't be found out as the responsible's for the killings. How dumb can this dude be? This was not about Saadia. The final girl doesn't necessarily has to do with everything about the murders. It was a great change to see how the protagonist is not the main victim nor that the killers are trying to blame her for the kills (Scream 5 and 6, for example). Dude certainly didn't pay attention to the series at all.
My least favorite thing about the season was the confusing flashbacks On other seasons it took place in such a different time period that you could differentiate the two, but in this season the flashbacks looked as if they happened at the same time as the current events There wasn’t even a color/saturation change like in Season 2, so at times I couldn’t tell who was dead because I couldn’t tell when we were in a flashback
*HEAVY SPOILER* The Original Druid was after 2 people, when he killed Kit (Horny Guy) [A year before the murder spree] There were 3 Druids. 2 of them had the same motive. The Original Druid (Wyatt) only killed Kit and Noelle for revenge for having se* with eachother and was Jealous - He only killed two. The other two killers [Jen and Connor Rijkers] were targeting the apartment building because of their mom's suicide and the fact that no-one did anything about it and the mom was always getting harrased which led to her setting herself on fire. 1 year later, they decided to go on a murder spree against the residents for revenge and the only person that was supposed to be kept alive was Sadia. But of course The ending was a gorier, more brutal, Scream type plot. Jen tied Sadia to a chair and told her about her mom's suicide and killed their stepmom while Connor was burning bodies in the building's furnace and went to go get Connor, one of the Gay's are dead and the other one force's Connor into the furnace and kills one Druid but that one dies [not to be offensive - can't remember name] Jen shoes up and sees Connor dead and tries to kill the Racict man while sadia shows up and the racict man escapes, Sadia and Jen fight, but Jen get's axed and sadia gets stabbed and escapes to an elevator where the Racict man is sitting and she helps him to the elevator, they get upstairs but they both fall and Jen comes from the elevator and tries fighting with a broken leg and Sadia grabs a fire extinguisher and blockes Jen's swing with her weapon and Jen's swing backfired on herself and cut her neck and they both talk to eachother while Jen is slowly dying but then Sadia explains that she reposted what Jen's mom deleted, which started the hate on her mom which caused her to commit suicide. Jen dies knowing that it was all Sadia's fault.
@Krazedkarl yes, but reposting it is still screwed up. It's best that people forget about it, or don't cause hate on that person or family because stuff like this could happen.
Oh wow.. I started on season 3 (I somehow missed there were 2 whole seasons before that!) and I was hooked by the second episode so I’m surprised to hear that it’s seen as not great.😨 Since I haven’t seen the first two seasons, I had to not watch this video unfortunately.. But I guess that means the first two seasons are going to be even better than 3, so I’m looking forward to that!
Season 3 definitely took inspiration from the purge you can tell by the killer design and the story of pretty much taking revenge on the people who wronged you i accidentally started on season 3 watching season 1 now it’s amazing
I thought it was ok. I just finished season 3 last night. I guess u could argue that a lot of backstory for characters doesn't make a difference cuz in the slasher genre in general unlike half the cast is there for body count lbs.
i rewatched it again the other day, i always forgot how all of the deaths occurred within one day. but yea some scenes were a bit messy and confusing especially with the final 2 episodes, it was truly the slowest thing i watched because they killed off everyone in the first couple of episodes.
@@bravado1994 exactly! also what kinda sucked about this season was obvious they made the killers. connor was barely in the season, making him the obvious killer.
@@alexneuhedelalso he was the only one who could of fit the description. It was clearly a tall, fit strong male and every other dude was fat lol seeing the sister go crazy shocked me though
@@denny9437 3 was really good but def my least favorite and 2 was by far one of the best slasher things I have watched. I loved it and the twist in the end got ke
The reason the cops don't catch up is that it all takes place in one day, so that complaint isn't valid. The reason for all the flashbacks is the same, but I agree with your complaint on that. It's very possible to get enough material out of one day to not have to flashback so frequently, but they used this gimmick where it takes place on one day and then cheat the gimmick by padding it with flashbacks, so it doesn't really all happen in one day. I think you missed the point that there were two killers, though, which helped provide alibis, kinda similar to Scream.
Season 1 killer was too obvious cuz they talked about the Cop’s physique and the executioner was obviously a big guy. Although it could have been the black boyfriend but that guy wasn’t tall enough. Season 2 I didn’t like that the mother got away and not arrested or killed. Also, given it was a middle aged woman, the men could have overpowered her.
I have only watched s1 but i loved it. I love scream, i love masked killers and stuff, amazing series. Btw just a quick question: Is season 2 about a masked killer or something as well?
Well I liked all the seasons the only one I don't think is the greatest is the new one which is season 4 but maybe that will change but the first 3 seasons were really good ,it's like American horror story just watch it you'll love it or I did anyway and I am a picky horror fan ❤️
I think what this season needed was a suggestion that the killer hunts awful people. Like every character was doing more and more awful shit so it might keep you on your toes. "Man, this guy is being awful, Killer's gonna hunt him!". Like you said, here it seems like it doesn't even matter what these people go through. It actually doesn't influence the killer at all. In season two The Killer even had the reason to murder people who didn't frame her son. For example, She killed Renee because she probably realised, he hid that girls body which complicated the original investigation. Also The Og Druid is such a boring character. In season one Og killer had to do a lot with the plot. Here the OG killer is just some simp loser. I also find it idiotic how the police couldn't find him year ago and now it takes them one day.
Honestly the influencer was by far the worst character cause she was a huge problem for everyone and just bitchy, but I also HATE Amber, not only did she do nothing but antagonize their mother too, infact her not trusting justine was a prime factor in why she killed herself, I hate how she has a reliance on the kids cause she can't be an adult and do shit on her own without being crazy
The inspiration for season 3 was the kitty Genovese murder story. This is a popular story told in many psychology textbooks in school as an example of the bystander effect. Slasher season 3 ran with that but added tons of left wing talking points and agenda pushing to ruin it
1 was quite good but weaker than 2. Having said that, it took me several minutes to even recall the story so it didn’t make much impression on my memory. 2 was outright good. 3 was silly, a bit boring, way overlong with too many episodes and had a bad ending. 3 was actually quite bad.
i thought Americans were dumb but Canadians can clearly join them: in episode 1 the girl with the hijab says "Sarajevo in Austria-Hungary", who tf made that script? Sarajevo is in Bosnia
@@crankyally4973 the Austria-Hungary time period was between 1867 and 1918, this show takes place in the 21st century, you North Americans really need to questioned the stuff they teach you at school
