They all sound very good. But I have a question have you ever used the shire sm7b? I recently purchased it and I am loving it. What I was wondering is what your opinion on it was?
It’s a killer microphone! It’s also one of my recommended mics in my free guide I give away! It wasn’t for me tho, I was recording a lot of people with a 1 mic budget and I wanted options! What kind of music do you make?!
For me, I actually think it’s worth it. I didn’t buy them, Slate gave them to me. And now after having them for 6 months, if I lost my license, I would buy the expansions personally!
@@ProducingInTheBoxthank you man, audient is awsome have it as well, but i mean the Vms One Preamp did you use it or you recordrd it stragiht through the audient id 14??
@@elikamin5678 I recorded straight through the Audient iD14! The preamp is sold separately and not NECESSARY. Any super clean interface will work! Just use a virtual preamp in your daw after the mic module!
Hi again I am about to buy this mic, do you really think that is not necessary to buy the Preamp of Slate, am I going to get a good result with my audient id14 mkii??? All the emulation of mic will sound good??? I just dont want to make any mistake🥵
My personal opinion is that it sounds great! Any clean sounding preamp will be great. You can even buy the preamp later if you want to! So there’s no mistake! All the examples you hear are with the ML-1 going straight into the Audient iD14! If it sounds good to you, then don’t overthink it! Best of luck to you!
@@ProducingInTheBox thank you bro🥇 I think another 400 box might be a big saving for me if it is not exactly necessary once i hear from a producer like you that you dont use it
