Well he did have most of their families that is a good motivation for not killing him, but couldn't they kill him and lie that he died in battle, well but i dont think people who know him will believe it, still at one point his soldiers will Break and kill him anyway so any reasoning doesn't really matter.

Not necessarily. Humans are weird when it comes to abuse. Some would break right away and others would stick it out for decades at least. For example: relationships. Some don't work out no matter what because of shit like this while others will stick it out for quite a while, whether it be for the memory of how they used to be or to try to allow their kids or such to live a life with both parents in the picture. @@frusty7217 Him being an s-rank shouldn’t be mattering either way when it comes to individual goals. The more s-rank heroes there are the better since it keeps the society more safe. It’s not like that’s their job or anything. So how is he instantly a target to her? She could literally become an s-rank regardless of whether or not he exists. He only just got his freedom from a bad employment so just let the poor guy be lol. The only reason for her being written to approach him like that is because the MC needs a love interest out of the gate. She literally only exists to serve a designated wish fulfilment function which is a recurring problem with a lot of shonen female characters. Bland tropes like this are too good to be true and so overdone that they instantly kill any investment that I may have originally had in reading the story. If you want a good example of a medieval fantasy with relatable character evolution where the MC doesn’t get everything handed to him check out Yajin Tensei: Karate Master In Another World. Sure, the guy does meet a few women but they aren’t instantly drawn to him nor just designated partners. Waaay better than this patronising junk.

Honestly, you can have it both ways, and it is beautiful when it happens. For instance, have a 12 year old MC and fully grown redhead. She became strong and independant after her prior team used her sister as bait to escape a dire situation (sis died), but finally accepted the MC after a mock battle. She then becomes a reluctant babysitter at first, but as the two got to know each other, she adopts him as her little brother, curing both their traumas.... Then, as an epilogue, you can show the MC 5 years later travelling nervously with his wife. She reassures him as the carriage pulls up to his sister's house where he greets her, her husband, and gets to meet his baby nephew/neice for the first time.

there's like 6 more chapters of [non raw] content i would be surprised if they actually did it since the video only would go for like 30 min. Obviously if they did the raw that could go to chapter 21 or13 more chapters or 1 hour of content but that's harder and costly so like they wont do part 2.

I believe she coroborated the people in the village mentioned in the report, stating that nobody there supported the report. No prior reports and no witnesses from those in the village is not sufficient evidence for condemnation.

I believe it was just that there was no actual proof behind the accusations.

As lord of his domaine, his proof were "because I say so", which was enought within his territory, but fell short as soon as someone with equal/superior power challenge it.

Essentially, she blackmailed him because the knight commander cooked his books in order to enslave the MC on top of taking credit for his work. What she was revealing was a discrepancy as for MCs status as criminal. Because, what’s written on the books is the knight commander basically arrested and enslaved him on the crime of being a traveler. Basically, she exposed K.C. was doing mob tactics, but instead of falsifying a money ledger it was legality ledger that he screwed up. Which means she likely knows his other misappropriation of power and resources hence the tantrum he pulled.

Perhaps the guild leader simply purchased him in accordance to their legal system. Who cares whether or not he did something if all that had to be paid was a fine! XD
