Speaking instrumentally. Original lineup was less talented IMO, not solid live, and *instrumental* writing left much to be desired. I'm enjoying this growth.
Thomas Dobson, uh no? Lyman and Kim were original guitars & writers. Kim left, Richmond took rhythm with Lyman still writing. Now that lyman left, Richmond is writing guitars and they got someone to play rhythm live. I prefer Richmond's writing style & execution over Lyman. No hate to Tai personally, but I never dug his drumming style. Idk the new dude but I like the flow better. Personal taste.

My husband had this on his playlist & EVERY SINGLE TIME it played I always said “This guy sounds exactly like this band I listened to a long time ago.. Emarosa” he would say “eh I don’t hear it” ….. 😂 I just found out today it’s the same man lol
The dude that mixed his vocals Erik Ron did a fucking amazing job. Jonny does enough justice on his own but the way that Erik tracked and mixed his vocals have it that much more! So effing good! I’ve always thought Jonny was talented but this song takes the cake and shows his talent ten fold!

I still think Dance Gavin Dance was his best... but I may also be impartial. It was one of my first shows in Orlando with Drop Dead Gorgeous. This is still fantastic.
