I have noticed that too. Eva Zubec(check spelling) is the real deal. You should watch some of her vids. She is one of the toughest people I have ever seen. Easy on the eyes too, I must say. Check her out. She will go jogging through a freakin desert, just to find a good camp site. Intense!

@@deadprivacy I was caught out in one about 10 yrs ago. I am in the Southern U.S.A., and they will come out of nowhere. Worst feeling hearing the trees cracking and your tent completely being pelted. One of the dumbest things I ever did. LOL I about pissed myself. Was out there all by my lonesome. Never will I camp in the South in summer ever again. I felt sure I was a goner. Learned my lesson.

@@charlesgoodwin5016 i saw a video the other day, dont know where it was, was a city park ina storm and three people all move towards a tree for shelter, creating a big grouding target , the strike hit the tree and dropped all three of them.... Was just a short clip with no context but one hopes valuable lessons were learned. The proper thing to do if the storm is close by, you should have aome warning from the thunder and lightning as it moves in. Solild building or a car or van is where you want to be.
