I think it's a Russian/Polish thing. I'm full blown Polish American.... but I know quite a few Polish Expats who need to spend at least a solid hour a day squatting or the day is incomplete.
Aren't slavic countries like Czech, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, of course Slovakia and Slovenia and balkan countries? Like there's no "that slavic" country per se, as far as I know, as in germanic countries, the first was Germany. Though correct me if I'm wrong, I'm definitely not certain of things here
fun fact nik tried to get alex terrible for slavic metal 2 but Schedules did not lined up and as for the vocalists it's within destruction's signer, no face no case's singer and distant's singer which all are slavs as far as i know

The current line-up is: Alan Grnja - Vocals (Slovakia, the one in this vid) Elmer Maurits - Bass (Netherlands) Nouri Yetgin - Guitar (Netherlands) René Gerbrandij - Drums (Netherlands) Though he band treats itself mostly as Dutch, all their locations on their social media say "Rotterdam, Netherlands" and the handles for their Twitter and RU-vid are DistantNL and DistantBandNL respectively. A bunch of other previous members of Distant were Slovakian too like Golic or Jan Mato.

Leave the music videos out to concentrate on the music only. I have seen quite a bunch where the reaction concentrates on the hair style and other irrelevant things to the music itself. So much for the "open mindness" of heavy metal circles.
Cmon Tank. Don't fall for this xenophobic concept of "CuLtUrAl APpRoPiAtIoN". There is no such thing as cultural appropiation, otherwise stop using cars unless you are german. Stop using modern tech if you re not taiwanese or chinese. Or using old tech if you are not british or german, etc. All of that would ve been cultural appropiation and even funnier using Adidas for slavs would ve been that.
That's almost certainly the reason why Alex was NOT invited. I know Nik worked with the guy for a track... but ever since then he's been avoiding talking about him like the plague
@@XLRider2 I would be more than happy if that is true - you can see when Tank is talking about Alex, that there is an info (or maybe he said that?) that Alex is not in this song only because they couldn't find the time when each of them had free time. Do you have any more info? Also, I think it would be great if Tank could stop talking about that kind of people (I know, I can not watch if I don't want, etc)
@@aetryuhax0rswife Admittingly I'm only assuming that's why, but Nik has been avoiding talking about Alex Terrible and Slaughter to Prevail ever since it came out that Alex was a Neo-Nazi. Everytime the topic of Alex or Slaughter comes up, which is usually on stream so I don't think there's any vods of him talking about it, Nik has the vibe of "I want to be as far away from this as physically possible". Especially since at the time he had just collabed with the guy before this broke out and I can imagine how awkward that was. I'm thinking Nik didn't want Alex involved because ever since it came out that Alex was a neo-nazi in 2023, Nik has wanted absolutely nothing to do with the guy at all and has been actively ignoring both him and his band. It could just be that they haven't released anything in a bit, but I tell you the way Nik has reacted to this has shown that he doesn't the situation lightly and likely doesn't want to out the guy because he works in similar circles and markets and that would effectively be nuking his career.
