Slay the Spire was the game that got me into roguelikes, I never would have considered straight-up SLAY THE SPIRE 2, but man I CANNOT wait!

Got this game as a gift and now I have over 6k hours in it last time I checked. 6000 hours! Didn’t expect it to be so damn good, still play every other day if not every day. Can’t wait boys.

Nothing gets me more hyped about a sequel game than high quality animation

Really really excited to see what MegaCrit do this time around. You know the game is good when it basically single-handedly births an entire genre of deck builder games. On a side note, it's just really interesting to see in general where all of these mega-successful indie are going.

I didn't expect MegaCrit's next project to be StS 2 whatsoever, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't always wishing it was, this is going to be amazing.

Amidst a sea of successors trying to do what it once did, the king returns. And more truly needs to be said about its art style, character design, and lore. It's so deliciously obscure and mysterious. Kind of makes me wish there was more media surrounding it that could explore that more.

I have never clicked so fast upon seeing a RU-vid notification before. Slay the Spire is one of my favorite games of all time and the thought of a sequel is just too much to handle. Wow.

It looks great you guys!! I can't wait to see what new stuff you have in store. Personally, I hope it's more than just new characters, cards, relics and enemies. I'm hoping to see more interesting mechanics, maybe some new way to explore and, this may be a lot, but I'm hoping for PvP. Maybe a feature that, when you die or beat the tower, you get the option to save the deck and face off using it against other players who got roughly as far as you did.

I almost jumped out of my seat when this was the first reveal of the triple i initiative. I don't know if I can wait a whole year, this is so exciting! Edit: It also sounds like you brought back Clark Aboud for the soundtrack which is equally exciting.
