Nah he's just going the RNG build route. You see when you do as many missplays as egg you have to play into your strengths: Luck. Half of the deck cost 0? Let's try to make the other half cost 0 as well while drawing 2 extra cards a turn. Synergy. You have to admit he won so many games due to Snecko eye that it seems a viable strategy.
Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my egg... adds more dagger sprays... even calculated gambles into non-discard deck. The missplays he done... the games he lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there. You feel it too, don't you?
Simon Torilis that is not right. He not always takes calculated gamble. Last time in his discard deck he choose not to despite complaining about missing card draw and discards literally 20 seconds earlier. You gotta love him
Simon Torilis he's posted over 80 videos for this series and he still makes the same misplays. At this point he's just playing with our expectations like a damn fiddle.
i looked down into the comments as soon as i saw that... "we're gonna take a hit here" *maybe you should've used your strike on the enemy who effectively had 4 hp left*
Good point, he usually misplays within the first 2 minutes. At least now it was within the first 3 🤷🏽♂️. Maybe he IS finally improving, 1 minute at a time
Ironclad takes about 1/3rd the time and attempts vs Silent in my ascension climb so far. These two classes are not the same. EDIT: he's so fucked if he gets to the level where they nerf the post-boss heals
kevin chen If we're just going off anecdotal evidence, I've done all 15 ascensions with Silent, and took 19 total runs to do so. By contrast, I've yet to even hit ascension 10 on Ironclad despite 20 odd runs now. It mostly just comes down to playstyle as far as I can tell. NL and many other players on the discord find the Clad. As far as I can tell it's just that Ironclad is more aggressive and faster to play. Silent's main difference is that you can't afford to play the full turtle style in Ascension. You need some level of early burst or better scaling then you would in the base game. If you understand the gameplay loop of the Silent it's not hard to adjust.
Felix Kam I have beat ascension 15 on silent today, and all the runs were discard decks with tough bandages, calc gamble or ting-sha with lots of powers and block. The way I see it, you almost have to avoid elites after ascension 10 on silent (first floor at least). Ironclad you can still go for elites at asc.15. The problem with ignoring elites is you get less cash, less good cards, and no relics, so you scale poorly into the second floor. I dk, doing ascension 15 on silent almost seems impossible in 20 runs, but you must be a pretty amazing silent player to pull it off.
All Ascencion levels in 20 runs ?!? Are you using ''Save and Reload'' strategies? Because, if so, yeah me too no problem. It's extremely unlikely, but why not, it's the internet and there is no way to verify what you say.
Yo NL - for real Thousand Cuts - think of it like 1 strength, adding 1 damage to every attack, but it also adds that damage to blocks, and can't be reflected, oh and it doesn't trigger enemies abilities... it's good.
Not that it matters But if you want to pronounce Orichalcum correctly Use the 'orac'le, ignore the h and the M'alcolm'' 'orac'-'alcolm' ... looks stupid but sounds correct phonetically.
*gets the chance to play two of the best silent powers without taking damage* "well this is horrible" *doesn't play dexterity* ............... (I wish I could capitalize this)
0:45 Could have full blocked turn one, took 4 damage. 3:06 Could have gotten the kill, took 4 damage 4:32 Used the Strength potion after Neutralize, missed 1 damage. 5:14 Right choice, wrong reason (After Image makes every card a block and thus negates Orichalcum) 5:38 Could have full blocked turn one, took 2 damage (Hindsight, Playing footwork was a misplay since the extra block was not needed) 9:53 Didn't need Infinite Blades, could have full blocked, took 1 Damage (Worst case scenario: Would have only taken 1 damage anyways) 11:46 Letter Opener made this the (unexpectedly) best play while maintaining full block. (Didn't matter) 12:06 Should have played Footwork first (Didn't matter, but should have actually played the second strike to avoid 12:16) 19:20 Infinite Blades would have killed 1 turn sooner, took 6 damage. 24:24 Egg accidentally makes the right play 25:00 Garbage Tier card
Hey NL you can use the ancient potion to ignore the strong debuffs too!!! So you don't have to collect hexs in draw pile. While we are at that you can also use it with flex which gives you permanent strength gain. Artifacts can be lot more useful.
To be fair, gravity is a difficult thing for even the world's foremost physicists to understand. Drawing a circle around a sphere, however, should be a thing a kindergartner has SOMEWHAT down.
HitchensImmortal I'm not asking him to explain it or even define it. All he needed to do was understand it pulls you towards the center of mass, and that orbitting is falling without hitting the ground. It's a function of speed, not height. A hundred hours in he couldn't handle it....
This man picks dagger spray and cloak and dagger over malaise. Can anyone who watches the streams tell me if he realizes now that malaise is good? This backlog is killing me.
Dagger spray and Cloak and Dagger are pretty good cards in their own right, and Malaise isn't useful in every fight. Passing it up over those choices isn't anything crazy on its own.
Dagger Spray really only combos with gremlin horn and strength, and it's still only useful on the first floor due to doing at most 12 damage. Thousand Cuts is just so much better in every way that the niche occupied by Dagger Spray is very small.
Can't agree with that. Sure, Thousand Cuts will eventually outpace Dagger Spray, but having to sink 2 energy for no immediate benefit renders it worse in plenty of situations, and it takes a very cantrippy deck to decisively outclass it. I'm more likely to take the Spray.
+ZeroNumerous Dagger Spray is still extremely useful in Act 2. It does fall off in Act 3 because of thorns, but can still be strong if you have synergy (Strength, Envenom). Still, Malaise is very strong (especially once upgraded), and given that the Act 1 boss was Hexaghost, I would have almost certainly drafted it.
At the sphere fight around 27 minutes you could've killed him and prevented the damage by going weak potion --> neutralize --> crippling --> bane --> shiv. 14 + 4 + 3 + 3 = 24
Do not retain cards with Well Laid Plans that are over expensive due to Sneko Eye. And do not take Sneko Eye in a deck where you have a lot of 0 cost cards NL... These two mistakes cost you your run. And please try to prioritize upgrading the expensive cards first and upgrades that reduce the card cost (like Distraction).
To get Grand Finale to work... only take that card... and then use EVERY deck removal option to get yourself down to one draw worth of cards. Or you could take that one rogue card that Exhausts your hand. Thats more likely
I find it kind of strange that he is so afraid of nemesis, personally I am always much more afraid of running into the double orb walker elite over nemesis, those guys just hit so hard, nemesis doesn't do nearly as much damage.
So if you have 9 cards in the deck.one grandfinally Gf.3fash steel or other replacement We call it Fl.and one card draw, let’s say backflip.and 4random cards whatever it is. You draw 7 at start.then you play Fl Fl.your deck has no card.you play grandfinally.then you play BF.you play Fl Fl to make your draw pile has no card again then you play grandfinally.then you play BF to draw them out.loop it. But you will face energy issue.so if you have upgraded setup.or aquabatic plus tactical or upgraned consentrition.it can go infinity.but it’s almost impossible to have all of it.even if you just have normal set up ,you will deal 100damage in the one turn.and another 50 or 100in the next turn depend your draw.
The grand finally is used by some conditions.best you have a very some deck.about 10 card.7at the best or less at he the best.cuz you just play it with your start relic.if you have more cards.there are 4cards help.excapt plan, flash steel,or 2block draw 1card.this 3card,you don’t lose card, but can make your draw pile exactly no card.allows you to play Gf.then you need a card draw card to draw it out and draw the o mana card draw card.then you play 0mana card draw to draw the card draw card.you can use aqabatic or backflip depend on your deck size.then you just keep loop it.perpared also works but it lose you a card,so you need more card draw in the deck or aquabatic.the other card you can’t removal though shop or event, you will simply just hold them. This is how you use grandfinally .you are welcome.
The reason you think Sneko Eye is always so good is because it only improves bad decks. If you have a good, thin deck with synergy and lots of low cost, high value cards, Sneko Eye will ruin your run. If you have a 30+ card deck with no synergy and a bunch of expensive cards then it can save your run. It's only use is to try and save decks that are basically doomed, and it can do that pretty well. But the reason you always thing it's so OP is because you construct a garbage deck and then you get saved by RNG. Egg pls.
You know what's even more triggering than the eggs misplays? My youtube beeping when I adjust my volume now ffs youtube stop updating stupid bs to your app
I think nl has become too afraid of loosing on the first floor. Veering away from elites on floor 1 might prolong his life but it lowers the chance of actually winning
Gonna say it again, KILL THE CENTURION FIRST. You're like "ow could you not" when you see him 3x10 attacking you. Yea, he only does that attack when the healer is dead. THINK.
