I saw Slayer the first time in 1993 for my 17th birthday. I saw them for the last time this past April with my daughter who was there celebrating HER 17th birthday! It was the same venue and everything! Thank you Slayer for being part of the soundtrack for my life and for giving me that special evening to share with my daughter. 🤘😢🤘
Saw them for the first and last time this year, 2019 on my 19th birthday, was a damn shame to be my only slayer gig, but definitely glad I got to see em before they finished...
Harry Callahan I think they wanted to go out while still on top of their game. I can respect that. They had the longevity, consistency, and now they went out with a nuclear flash.
one thing never mentioned enough is that tom araya is the best metal singer of all time. his voice is badass and the fact he plays the bass at the same time makes him even more legendary.
Well of course they'd do Seasons and Dead Skin Mask. Those songs have been permanent staples in their setlist since Seasons in the Abyss came out in '90
But sorry, Los Angeles . . . you are n o t r e a l l y g o o d HEADBANGERS ! Here in Germany we raise our fists and keep headbanging all the time . . . I am 51 years young and I can not stand still in a fucking SLAYER - Show ! If I look in the Arena the audience is disappointing me a lot . . . it's sooo sad !
VENEZUELA! I saw the Venezuelan flag on the screen ... I am glad to know that I was not the only Venezuelan who had the opportunity to witness that night full of black magic! THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE, THANKS SLAYER!
If there is a god, he is truly at ease that one his greatest rivals, the mighty slayer, have hung up their swords from battle and retired! Satan himself is deep in the pits of hell gathering together fresh recruits to replace his former best masters of mayhem! Slayer are truly the real 4 horsemen of apocalypse on this earth, I have been worshipping slayer since I was 10. Now 45 I truly feel lost now, coming to the realization that they may actually be done forever! Hell is truly frozen over and reality may end now without the power of slayer to keep us going! So long to the masters of metal from this dark domain!!
Josh Tato check out ghost. Not the brutal driving power of slayer but definitely a band leading the way for the next generation of the dark lords followers
VENEZUELA !
I was at this one, about the same spot but across the way. THANKS for recording the whole concert, even the end where Kerry took off his chains. Been with Slayer for 31 years and I'm not to proud to say that I cried when they were saying their last goodbyes! THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A PLACE IN MY HEART FOR SLAYER!!!!!!!!

I am sure we will be seeing them again. Just like many other bands. Look at Motley, Kiss ect. When the money runs out.. this is there art this is what they do.
@@thomasackerly7732 Apparently not, RS keeps going even though they're much older. How about Metallica or Iron Maiden, then? no plans of giving it up any time soon.
Tony BP Metallica hurting Maiden to we just don't know about it. Touring is thing now cuz Records sale doesn't make u $$$ now in music business Touring Shirts that what make them $$$$
They always dedicate Angel of Death to Jeff, probably the most infamous song he ever wrote. And when I saw them a few months ago one of Gary Holt's guitars had the sweet Hanneman Heineken logo on it.
Damn! It's so funny how us NOR-CAL OG's actually act like actual fans.....that must suck so cus we all up here grinding and all of you all down ther dying ....damn that's tough!!
Didn't see what happened to Kerry's chain after he dropped it on the stage. But what I really want to know is, what's he going to do with that armband full of nails that he would always wear? That thing is an icon!
I think it only looks that way because majority of the floor is seated at The Forum. The bulk of people in front of the stage were crammed sardines trying to crowd surf, get closer, etc.
I think it was about 180 dollars but I bought it second hand... We came from Sweden for both shows so they were the most expensive in my life so far! Hehe! (c;
Hate the reverb effect with Tom’s voice. Hate the Exodus guitarist butchering Hanneman’s solos. Hate what they did to Lombardo years ago. Glad Araya and King retired.
jesus Christ. how far removed is metal becoming to the point even the metal way of dressin is disappearing. the amount of people u c at these shows look like just the average person goin about the street. and wouldn't know who slayer r. im seein it every were. I was at machine heads 25th burn my eyes tour in London England. and I even seen a guy in a three piece suit. seriously why would u goto a slayer or even machne head gig in a suit.i even seen a 70 year old granny at the machine head gig. seriously. how the fuck would a 70 year old granny know who the fuck machine head r.
