Amazing cover but that snare hurts my soul. I was in love with this song a few decades ago and listened to it over and over and played it on guitar over and over! I've been listening to your Slayer covers more than the actual originals lately, it's pretty fun to try to sing them or at least go over the words in your head.

The verse riff at 1:12 is played an octave higher with an open E string. So 07, 08, 010, 08, 07, with the zeros being the low E string open and the 2nd number being the fret on the A string. Add open E chugs between.
...ok. the opening I have played both versions of it...but was it originally recored with a 12 string guitar??? I know that Kerry during the late 80's used a double V guitar...
Whoever's playing drums much respect.!!!! ...... With a little more practice would blow Paul Bostaph of the stage...... IMHO too much to keep pace with King Lombardo
Even if you played it wrong (which u havent) id still be in gratitude for the efforts.......one hitch though...id like to know the ideas that were imbibed in this song...what key they played it in...what chord progressions......which scale....i for a fact know that SLAYER uses a lot of jazz progressions....like the ii-V-I...tom studied jazz...and people think they follow no patterns....
