One of Slayer's finest in terms of composition and progressiveness, definitely my favourite piece from SOH. The buildup for this song is insane, and you nailed every bit of it, congrats!
Great cover and absolutely amazing stuff, Dave is just speaking on the drums, duels of solos, speed, flowing rythms.. South of Heaven is a true masterpiece!
Excellent. To point out imperfections would be nit picking that this video doesn't deserve. I loved providing my own vocals. Incidentally this is my favourite air drumming song.
Salut, Of the original, every element is present here and thriving, brought back to life, full and vibrant! ....the tone! ....and those previously unmatched guitar sounds! ....never would I have dreamed they'd be replicated so accurately complete. That sent me on a trip, my friend! ....Momentarily, I was transferred back into those fair and beloved 80s, a much more prefereable time and place! You Sir, are truly one heck of a guitarist! ....your skill is quite literally off the charts, and the catalogue of jams in your rolodex? ....each one, an accomplishment to savor.... but when placed together, a totality that is found beyond the term impressive! Do you ever take requests? I cannot recall anyone ever covering a certain band by the name of "Resurrection" ....some tunes off that album would surely twist some heads! Go ahead and chalk me up as yet another new subscriber! Thanks, Cheers, and Blessings!
For guitar : tse x30 - poulin le cab v1 ( two different impulses for left/right) - fab filter pro q , after that final eq-matching with izotope ozone 5 , superior drummer 3 , Trillian for bass !
Outstanding as usual, Tobias! I know my comment is late but, as a lifelong Metal head, Slayer fan & beginner guitarist (almost 2 years now), I was wondering what string gauge & pick gauge you used on this song? BTW I learned Black Magic watching your video, thanks Brother 🤘🏻🇺🇸
