Slayers Dragon Slave 

Phyrexiandude as It not, Dragon Slave attack both physical plane and astral plane. It always attacks at the same level in the astral plane.

Also, Lina Inverse specifically says that she can to quite the extent control the damage outcome... including instantly casting it but having it hella nerfed.

She can also buff it with the four demon blood gems

Yeah but there was a drawback to Lina's Dragonslave....it took time to cast and wasn't good to use against mobile opponents....

It's better we never know what her sister done with her..

I am pretty sure the author's note for Megumin are just: What if Lina, but slightly worse.

I played DOTA since the very early stages of its life back in WC3, and the vast majority of heroes were inspired by, and often outright plagiarized from, several pieces of media. Lina is one of many.

Kinda shocked that Valve did not face any lawsuits regarding Lina's name and her abilities. In wc3, as far as I remember, Dota was non-commercial modification, which sort of explains why there were no copyright claims, but dota2? No clue, really lol.

Dragon Slayer (garbled over time as Dragon Slave) is a Black Magic spell drawing on the power of Mazoku Lord Ruby-Eye. It can destroy an area the size of a small city. Giga Slave is a spell created by Lina Inverse that draws upon the power of the creator of existence, the Being That Resides On The Sea Of Chaos. It annihilates everything in a 50 km radius of the target, and creates a miasma from which nothing can escape until the end of time. If miscast, it can summon the Creator itself, which would destroy the universe.

@@kefa9430 actually the giga slave summons the lord of nightmares itself in the body of the summoner since it has no phsycial body of its own but the only other thing i know about it can turn the world to nothing if Lina loses controle of the spell

Probably the name isn't accidental either, as Lina's voice actress is called Megumi Hayashibara, strengthening the reference.
