SLEEP - Band Review 

I get random compliments on my Sleep merch I wear more than any other band I rock. Sometime people don't even know it's a band, they just like the shirt design. The Astronaut Dopesmoker shirt, and the Dragonaut Camel shirt are big hits with some folks.

track "The Sciences" actually a very good axample of guitar tone for this album. You are totally wrong, that's good sound experience for those, who play electroguitar

Sleep are planning to reunite for a short tour in the Southwest USA, as well as a show in Albuquerque to commemorate the legalization of recreational cannabis in New Mexico

Volume One certainly doesn't get the recognition it deserves. such a killer album

should've used the original album art for the TeePee release! Southern Lord release art is great, but the OG Roper art rules. and sonic titan rips! lol decent review of a timeless band.

Dude, the opening track of "the sciences" is awesome. I get a 2001 vibe. Its a great buildup for the rest of the album.

Volume 1 is probably my second favorite release from Sleep. Very dark, desolate, and eerie sounding.

Awesome Review! You should go a different direction one day and do one on the most underrated and underappreciated band of all time. Lux Interior, Poison Ivy, Bad music for Bad People, The Cramps!!

You completely left out the "Live at Third Man Records" live album they put out. That was the last thing they've released, not leagues beneath..

Honestly can’t stand Volume 1. Sleep has only gotten better over time. Al’s vocals are much more fitting now after Om-ifying them.

I really love Sleep, but this must be one of the most fanboyish reviews of all time! Holy Mountain is overrated, Dopesmoker deserves respect but the midsection is boring as fuck. The Sciences is their best imho, Sonic Titan, Giza butker and the Botanist blow everything else out of the water
