I found this notebook with the words Sleep Note written on it and thought I would test it out on you to see if it actually works. It seems eerily similar to the original Death Note that was found in Japan back in the early 2000's.

One of the few I've personally enjoyed as someone who doesn't watch anime that often. Marathoned it back in Fall 2017 and I still come back to it from time to time. Definitely one of the best.

@@mouse7211 Yeah. The only others that I've really enjoyed over the years are "Hellsing Ultimate", "Paranoia Agent", and Naoki Urasawa's "Monster". Some people have recommended that I watch "Psychopass", and I personally want to actually sit through "Neon Genesis Evangelion" sometime, but I still haven't come around to watching either of those quite yet.

Death note is such a good anime to get people into the medium. I’ve had two friends that both were always heavily against anime give it a try, one was pleasantly surprised, loved it and has watched a couple other shows. and the other is now caught up to one piece and has started reading manga. It’s such a good beginner show :)

@@utm0st each to their own I suppose, and light isn’t meant to be a likeable person really, his whole character arc is about his god complex sending him on a downhill spiral. And I agree that then later parts aren’t as good as the first part, but I still always see people say they started out with death note. I think for people that already have an idea of what anime is (without actually watching any), it’s just new and surprising
