What you said. It took me several listens to realize that the chorus (which happens 3 times) is never repeated in the same key. The first one is A flat, the second is in E flat, and the final chorus is in F. In most songs that have key changes, they’re obvious, in your face, and often gimmicky. In TMBTE, they’re so subtle that I felt them instantly but didn’t understand what I was hearing until some time later. Just brilliant.

@@darkides Indeed, they have really dialed in their drum sound...every venue/studio/performance...always sounds soooo Fantastic! Top Notch stuff. Not to mention, that Snare tone is completely out of this world...love it

The drum mix is really good, way too loud though, could just be the video but all I can hear is the top end of the kick drum.

He improvises quite a lot live - sounds great here especially!

Unfortunately those screams were majority backing track. For example, 41:32 he lowers the mic too early.

@@renatovieira4472 I'm sure part of it is his screaming along with some effects, but there is definitely a backing track to fill out his screams at that section specifically. Compare that to a few screams earlier in the show and you can clearly hear the difference. Not saying it's bad to utilize that stuff, just good to understand what's actually going on.

@@jmd489 Keep in mind, IV (the guitarist) does the screaming alongside Vessel, for instance at the end of TMBTE, so you could be mistaking his screams with a backing track. He also does the screams in Vore and The Summoning and his are always louder than Vessel's.

IV does backing low end harsh vocals too, but I agree

​@@XAVR_ I really like that they layer the harsh vocals, but I can't wait til Vessel really develops his to where he can seamlessly switch back and forth with the rest of his repertoire.

@@merpinallday yeah when he does that he will be one of the best vocalists. (not that he already isn't)

i'm not sure if its just the layering with IV, but on Vore it sounds like he's going into goblin/tunnel screams as opposed to more rudimentary fry screams on the recording and earlier shows. really awesome to see him still leveling up his voice

Same! Someone teleported their like 6ft tall friend in front of me from the back of the crowd and i was so pressed about it for a minute but it was still perfect.

Dude, you live in the US already. You don't need a visa or anything to go see them in another state. Go see them. If I would want to see them, I would have to apply for a Visa and spend 5 months of salary to travel just to see a band. Use the privileges that you have and enjoy life.

@@mickox13 Unfortunately with my work schedule and my responsibilities at home life doesnt just allow me to just go to another state to see them. If only it was that simple.

I went to SNW last year as well, and even though there were plenty of other bands at SNW this year that I liked, I only went this year because of Sleep Token. It was so worth it.

@@chelstar_ I preferred the overall line up of last year, but this year had a handful of bands I felt bad about missing: Baby Metal, Danny Elfman and Slowdive to name a few. I’m adding Sleep Token to the that list.
