Front row video I took of Sleep Token performing “The Offering” at Alexandra Palace in London, United Kingdom. I own no rights to this song. All rights to this song belong to Sleep Token.
I was watching this video thinking “Wait, this sounds exactly like when I saw them at Alexandra Palace” not realising that’s where it was recorded 😂 I was standing way in the back so could barely see them. This is the song/performance that made me fall in love with them so thank you for posting it ♥️
Love their chemistry from 4:25 to the end. Rare to see bands actually jive with each other on that level. Even with masks on you can tell they're enjoying playing music together.
Man that guitarist just plays so commandingly for somebody who has to hold down all those stringed chops! So much power in his playing. Then again i could say the same for all 4 of them. Powerful stuff.
I just started listening to this band and I've fallen in love with them. Does anyone know anything about these guys outside of this band? Like what's their story?
They prefer to keep anonymous. Vessel (the singer) started this band after the deity, Sleep, appeared to him in a dream. Thus this band being born. The band do not wish to have their identies revealed and wear the masks as they want the band to be about the music they play, not themselves
@@meps7134 Thats the lore to be more specific. I myself am friends with the person who created the entire concept of Sleep Token, found the members and created the band. It's an unfortunate story at that too.
I like these guys a lot. Love the music. I'm thrilled to see they have back up singers. The fact that they're taking the harmonies seriously live is awesome. I am not a fan of the get ups or weird showmanship. Personal preference. For me it would be way cooler without the weird masks and cloaks and stuff.
@@josh5132 I tried man I just need the vocal harshness lol, it complement it too well to take away or try and replace with 'cleans' imo. But clearly a good band!
This is the worst take I’ve heard about this band. What are you even listening to? I’ve watched four videos from this set now and it’s pretty top notch and on par with record
There will always be a lack in audio being recorded on a phone versus being there. But put headphones in. Know the lyrics and you’ll hear more nuances you never heard before during these live recordings. I thrive on listening to these live recordings and of all the bands I absolutely love… sleep token is best live than most bands ever dreamed of being live.
