Great reaction guys! Their new album (their 3rd) called Take Me Back To Eden dropped on Friday 19th May! Next react to the song Chokehold! Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
The figures in these music videos for this album mean something if you dive deep in to the lyrics you’ll understand why they created the figures. Sleep Tokens Drummer is “II” his drumming is instantly one of the best I’ve ever heard & seen. I love seeing people discover this band. To see the rush of excitement, confusion & shock on people’s faces when they react to ST brings me back to the first time I heard their songs. I love your reactions guys! I just SUBSCRIBED!
Hi. Wow. First time here. Liked and subscribed. Really liked reaction. Loved to see people faces when they listen Sleep Token for the first time. As I'm fan like 2 years happy that they get well deserved recognition last months. My favourite song is The Offering from first album. What is amazing they was doing same catchy heavy melodic epic music from the early beginning. Enjoy the ride. It's a rabbit hole.
they have quickly become one of my favorite bands. They never disappoint. Recently I've been addicted to Nick Thurl Mavromatis' new song. Reacting to it would be awesome 🤘
Yall need to check out some of their older stuff too like alkaline, hypnosis, atlantic, telomeres, the offering and many more. Vessel the singer does all the vocals, and all instruments except drums when recording. Live they are even better if possible lol worship
THE OFFERING = from 1st album You want drums and insane beats YOU WILL GET BITCH SLAPPED This band is EPIC, they are all genres and they are from the UK, check them out they are 🔥
Definitely check out the album!! The whole thing, that's my recommendation! Start with "Chokehold" and move on to the next, if you ask me -- but do whatever you want! I'll enjoy it!
There's hidden meanings in the creature you're looking at. Also there's numbers around the frame, if you add them with the other numbers from the other visualizers from this album they lead to a spot on the globe. 😉 There is a TON of deapth to Sleep Token, more than just their amazing music.
Yassss! Sleep Token are the best band I have ever come across and the recent album is definitely my AOTY! You should go down the rabbit hole now. They’re genre bending and use elements of everything from rock, metal, RnB, trap, hip hop, gospel, and more. Even if you don’t like one song don’t write them off as every song is different and as you can see from this one they switch up completely through the songs, also don’t be thrown off by some of them being 7-8 minutes long either as it goes by far too quickly. You should start at the beginning and work your way through as they tell a story and have call backs to a lot of them. The band are anonymous, I and others know who they are but won’t reveal out of respect to the band and fans but the singer goes by the moniker Vessel, drummer, who is a beast is II, bassist III and guitarist IV. From London UK. As far as their discography goes they brought out two EPs called One and Two, then 2 singles called Jaws and The Way That You Were, then the three albums Sundowning, The Place Will Become Your Tomb, then TMBTE (Take Me Back To Eden). They’ve done five covers that I’m aware of. One being Hey Ya by OutKast, I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, Is It Really You? By Loathe and When The Party’s Over by Billie Eilish, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. His Vocal range I believe is B ♭2 to F#5 and he has a wonderful chest voice, head voice and scream. I have never hyper fixated on a band like I have with these! Loved the react and Will subscribe and hopefully see many more. 🖤 The trilogy = Seduction. Destruction. Liberation.
2023 is the year of visualizers! Makes you pay more attention to the music! Worship 🙏🏼Oh and yeah you shoud def check out "Take Me Back To Eden" and "Ascensionism" I like you two👊🏼
The energy in their music is like a sonic hurricane that engulfs you. I now think you'll love Nick Thurl Mavromatis' new song 🔥 Do a reaction video for it!
As a musican i have noticed that the people that really like these guys are musicians themselves and have a different way of experiencing music. Not saying it's the CORRECT way, but it does seem like the haters are generally NOT musicians themselves and listen for different things and appreciate different things. Musicians overall seem to really enjoy being surprised, while regular listeners seem to enjoy a smoother ride and can find sleep token a little jarring in their transitions and such. I know I might come off as an elitist when saying this, but I just think it's true. Musicians generally like progressive stuff because we're always anticipating what's coming next. We often harmonize automatically, we can usually guess the chord progression and so on, how long the verses are, counting in our head. So when music is predictable, it can almost get boring. We need flavour. PLEASE put jazz and funk in metal, it's so much fun!
I would recommend from this album Chokehold or take me back to Eden. Or from their other Album The offering, Mine, Jaws, The Night does not belong to God.
Sleep Token are amazing. They are definitely the proverbial box of chocolates. So many twists and turns in every song. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed. If you like the heavier ones, I’d suggest Vore or Gods. One of the coolest videos is Alkaline in my humble opinion.
Ok guys, what other track do you know that you can thrash, then, by the end... bounce to the funk! No boundaries! And you should check out Jaws... just my opinion. We need to get out of the ladels. If it's good, it's good regardless of genre. Thank you for you thoughts.😊
It seems like you guys are familiar with Djent since Loop mentioned Polyphia. Are you listening to Animals As Leaders as well? Because if you don't or not yet, I think it is the time to bring them here. I would love to recommend Animals As Leaders - The Brain Dance (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vrbt14uej08.html)
Our reactions are all first time listen, unless it's a live performance of a song then we might already know the song but still first time we watch the video, this was 100% first time, no idea what to expect. That guitar pattern you talk about is a repeating pattern or a "expected pattern" I mean, we play music lol
