I play shen support and the only difference is that I play full support oriented so I opt for guardian and ghost poro. Most people dont know that you can proc guardian with your abilities while not being near your ally so it works with shen ult. And ghost poro is an extremely underrated and undervalued runes, as a support you almost always have 3 wards placed so that 3 poros that last 90 each and in low elo your team mates dont ward so it's a good way to ensure you have vision around objectives and dont die to ganks

@@__ash13__ it is. Earlier on in the game supports are less likely to have sweepers which means you'll get your poro. If you place your wards in tribrush, the farthest brush in the lane or in river you can have vision for a longer period of time which means you're less prone to getting ganked. As I said if your adc is unwilling to use their wards it'll help lower any consequences of their bad gameplay not to mention the ap you get which shen's q and r scale off of.

@@donyg7031 i don't understand how you get much vision value of those wards like 3 lane brushes which enemies check all the time or their side close to lane river brush where they have ward(or even pink ward) more often than not, maybe your side close to lane river brush that will help you with ganks from behind when you're constantly pushing Also true damage rune is pretty good considering you trigger it on every E or Q slow

Ghost poro is a really good rune due to it being very safe, it doesn't need you to get kills or assists to stack it, just to ward and eventually you'll have your 30 ap by minute 12-15. I really like it!

@@__ash13__ You just ward river where you can see dragon pit and entrance to enemy jungle. Now you have vision of drag and protective vision against ganks for 3 minutes. This is also important because without poro you will inevitably have down time in between your wards where you can’t have river vision and thus are limited because of risks of ganks. Between your ward, poro, and your ADC’s ward you will be able to maintain permanent/100% uptime on vision in river against ganks. Plus you’ll stack it quickly as a support and will have an early free 30AP which is nice

(Shen's Twilight Assault [Q] does bonus damage to jungle monsters) Can break the scuttle shield with Shadow Dash [E] to help your Warwick 3:04 Could've gotten the kill on brand at 4:40 if used Twilight Assault [Q] immediately Should've kited away from turret at 9:50 and towards Warwick Could've led with Flash > Shadow Dash [E] > Twilight Assault [Q] at 13:56 16:40 Biscuit Delivery restores 12% missing health on champions without mana 23:34 There was an opportunity for a 4-man Flash > Shadow Dash [E] 25:57 Could've waited for minions There was just a lack of general Champion Knowledge with Shen here, but overall general game-knowledge was pretty good though.

@@dandychiggins7240 I mean he has demolish over shield bash and overgrowth over revitalize, lastly second wind is useless in the bot lane where you can die in seconds if enemy gets a good engage, bone plating is better as it'll block more damage than second wind can ever heal. He doesn't comfortably play shen it seems.

@@Rat-dh6ck EZ and brand are poke stars. That's why second wind is being taken. Bone plating is good against all-in support like Leona.

Why ad support item and not ap one? Doesnt all his abilities scale off of ap?

Most of his damage still comes from auto attacks, it's the same with thresh (although all abilities have ap sclaings most of his dmg is amplified by and through his autos)

and yet shen only does have one spell that does dmg and scales with ap (which is only for auto attacks anyway and scales bad + it is %hp dmg), since his e doesnt do much anyway and does ad dmg (scales with hp btw) and his ult works fine with it's hp scaling by itself. ap really fckn sucks on him
