So, I'm curious, what do you do to prepare for high winds during the night on a portaledge, especially strong wind blowing up the face of the cliff? It seems to me it would lift the ledge or even capsize it if it were too strong. How do you avoid that?

Ive never heard of a ledge that tipped from upwinds. Everyone is always tied in on a ledge. Your never just sitting there. If it where to tip you get caught by the rope or personal anchor system.
