A woman whose abusive ex-boyfriend introduced her to drugs - leading to her losing her job and home - has been telling Heart about the perils of sleeping rough on the streets of Southend for more than a year.
Lucy has now turned her life around after going to rehab and getting employed again.
She's encouraging others to have some compassion for those sleeping rough.
