Just a wonderful way to end a relaxing friday night. Don't have any winter camping gear, so it's nice to get lost in your videos. Love your content, it's educational, relaxing and fun. Thanks!

Ive been watching you for a while now and the feeling you manage to transfer through a screen is simply just astonishing. Any new adventure you take feels like a whole other world while watching it. Nothing else is happening around but you and the video you decide to share. From silly jokes that make everything just a bit more loose, to those open-hearted moments you get and record, makes me, and i dare to say many other of your viewers, feel kinda "close" to you, and i as surely many others, cherish that immensely. Needless to say the cinematography on your works is mindblowing. More personally ive found such comfort in your videos that i simply am forever thankful. I have had to go through some stuff that hit me pretty rough the last two years or so and any time i felt anxious, roughed up, or just had a bad time, these videos have always managed to put a smile on my face with those silly jokes i mentioned, or helped me cope and get a clear mind with those open-hearted moments i also have. Im only 18 years old as of right now and live in the middle of a capital city, so the adventures u take on are pretty far from my day to day. But these kind of videos help me dream a bit more, like i said, when i press play there aint no cars around, no noise, no malice as its characteristic in an urban city, just ypu and your camera. Again i thank you for the work you put in these videos and i hope we continue to see these journeys of yours for a long time. Proud of you as a person without even knowing you, and of your work without even knowing about it. Keep it up Xander, cheers!

i've been watching your videos for a while now and i wanted to say this. Been through rough times, and currently finding myself through another, sometimes getting a little too sad and questioning what is it in life that makes it so nice to others. Whenever i feel like that, i try my best to see some of your videos, you have no clue how much they've helped me lately and how lovely it is to see someone sharing their joy and appreciation for a part of life that is often underrated. I cannot do what you do as of right now, but i won't deny you really inspired me lol. So anyway, thank you, really. Keep enjoying what you love and please keep sharing it! have a wonderful day. One last thing! to preserve arrows, i was taught a trick some years ago, but it might be hard with logs and other tough materials. You shouldn't yank it out or mix it in the material, it puts a lot of stress on the arrow tip, instead you could position your hand flat on the log, fingers spread out and with the arrow's shaft between your middle finger and ring finger. Grab the shaft as close as possible to the hand on the log, and while you pull the arrow, push the log. it usually works and puts opposite force parallel to the arrow, preventing fractures. ANYWAY byebye

On a recent camping trip (in February) I was hot tent camping. The first night was nice, but I slept poorly because I had to feed the fire ever hour and half. On the second day I got a good bed of embers in the stove and then put a large log in with the hopes that it would burn most of the night. The log jammed the baffle into the stove pipe and smoke was billowing out of the tent. I couldn't take the stove out, so I pulled all my sleeping gear out and slept under the stars. It was the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. I'm strongly considering leaving the tent and stove at home next trip. Awesome video! Thanks!

One thing that occured to me is that you havet be a good friend with your mind during these trips. I think that the dark thoughts might come forth otherwise. I would have problem with the solitude. Good job xander!

Wow man 2022 what a year of adventures! Hoping to get out for more wild camps myself this year (although Essex UK doesn't get that wild 😂) Look forwards to your 2023 content! 🏕
