Him and his wife would listen to SWS all the time, and Austin was actually the one that got me into their music just months ago… Sleeping With Sirens and their music has helped me so much, they’re one of my favorite bands. When I was 13 my friend introduced me to sleeping with sirens. She never made it to 15 because a drunk driver took her life, and I sang this song sitting by her grave a few months after she died. I'm 23 now listening to this going through a rough time and feeling oddly nostalgic, but connecting to this part of my life gave me some comfort. Thank you, Kellin.

I know how being infatuated feels, and how having that ripped away can hurt. I know how depression feels. I have been bullied and pushed around. I know how it feels when your parents look at you like a plague, or a crack in a perfect glass castle. I have stepped up to the ledge, looked down, and pondered stepping out and falling away. I know how it feels to talk to an angel, who stopped me from ending my sad life; but, now longs to end hers.... I know how it feels to die; to look up through jaded eyes and feel nothing. And, the person I just went out with, and told my feelings to, has a boyfriend that I never knew about until now. Kellin's voice, the music, and the feelings put into these lyrics, all call me back from that ledge for the second time. And that is how powerful this song feels to me.

Okay this is way off topic. But when I was at warped tour this year and sws was doing the save me a spark work shop thing, me and my friend went to it and it was where Kellin and Nick were telling us about it. After they were done they let us ask questions and about band related/music related/advice etc... and during the time me and kellin were making awkward eye contact and me and him would just start laughing quietly. At one point there was a bee and he start fucking punching at it. Like the bee was flying and kellin was just trying to kill the damn thing with his fist. And then there was a fan who was a savage and got called on and she yelled out "IS KELLIC REAL?!" And everyone went crazy. Kellins response was "what's kellic?" Everyone replied "it's yours and Vic's ship name" and he asked "do you guys like write stories about us" then one fan screamed out "YEAH SMUT" oh my god kellin blushed so hard. Best day of my life

2022 Still Listening 🎶🎧? ♥️♥️♥️

This song reminds me of my son. I got pregnant at 14. My mom didn't know because I kept it a secret but she did find out I was having sex. She moved my family and me from Washington state to Virgina to live with my abusive step dad. She didn't tell me we were going to live there she only told me we were visiting for winter break because my mom and step dad have two kids together and she wanted him to be able to see them. On new years eve on the countdown she told me we were staying and never going back to Washington. I had a meltdown tantrum and locked myself in the bathroom and within 20 minutes of being in there having extreme anxiety I had a miscarriage. I was only 2 1/2 maybe 3 months along so I didn't really know for a fact that the baby was a boy but I always had a feeling he was. About a week after we stayed in Virginia my step dad got abusive again and my mom went back to being her alcoholic self. I was miserable beyond belief. I tried to find any way to get back to Washington. I called CPS because my house was far from safe. CPS didn't believe me about anything I said my step dad did to me. My step dad would beat me, choke me (I made a necklace out of gray can tabs to express that my life was awful he always called it garbage and told me to take it off but I refused one day before school my sisters and I were loud and instead of hitting both her and me he came after me and I ducked in fetal position and he grabbed my necklace and choked me with it until it broke), poison my food to make me sick but not kill me (because he was wanked out on drugs) I had enough and decided to run away. Long story short I had no shoes when I ran and a lady called the cops saying a girl crying with no shoes was running down the street towards to woods. The cops got me and brought me to my mom and step monster and the cop had me stay in the car while he talked to my mom and step dad. He said my step dad and mom were in the right that they are allowed to use physical "punishment" on me. And made a comment on how my mom was beyond the legal alcohol levels but it was fine because she was in her own home (we actually lived with my step dads mom, aunt and cousin) and he lefted me there with my mom and step dad. I lived in the basement on a pull out bed so I went straight downstairs and cried until I fell asleep. My step dad woke me up to punch me and slap me and ridicule me saying no matter how hard I try I'll never escape him... Fast forward literally 2 months. My mom left my step dad again and we moved to Nevada. My mom took my step dad back again after 2 weeks and my step dad attempted to rape me while I slept. I told my neighbors and they called the cops and I've been in foster care until my 18th birthday which was last December. My mom left him and sobered up and got full custody back of my sisters just last month. After 4 years. Sorry this post was originally about my miscarriage but I wanted you guys to know like how it related. Especially the "I don't want the world to see me cuz I don't think that they'd understand" and especially the "I don't wanna go home right now" parts.. If you're reading this I'm sorry for posting about my life its pretty stupid and may seem like I'm fishing for attention or something... But thanks for reading...
