Glad you like it! It is a great way of rehearsing and keeping the fingers "nimble." There are many excellent backing tracks on RU-vid and/or for purchase on other sites that help keep our practicing more fun while sounding "complete." Thanks for listening and for your positive remarks! Rgds, Wayne
thank you...even sax player's love this oldtime bad ass yet simple solo and a steel guitar player just came up to me on a gig the other day. Asked if I could use a steel guitar player. So this instrumental is perfect. Thanx Brada
thank you very, very much! First Sleepwalk backingtrack that's actually really well made, for as far as I've seen. I have been playing guitar for years but I can't improvise very well, even though I have some solo ability. So this is perfect, because I can just play the melody and it sounds great! Thanks again
Thanks, and appreciate your compliment! I decided to do 2 Middle parts since every time I played this song at an event people loved the song and I could tell they didn't want it to end so soon :^) If you ever complete your uptempo swing version, let me know. I'd like to listen and enjoy!
Hi! Congrats on your film. Sorry to have to report that a "cover version" is simply a performers rendition of some other composer's original work. If you're unable to obtain the rights for the song's use, then I would suggest either looking into "Royalty Free" music, "Buyout" music, or even approaching a musician friend to compose a song in the Mood and Style of "Sleepwalk" (avoiding any copyright infringement entirely) if that particular music is a "must" for your film. Good Luck!
I used this as a backing track in a guitar cover of this song. Thank you so much for it, however, Exploration Group LLC. placed a fraudulent copyright claim on your backing track. I disputed the claim, but I thought it should be brought to your attention both for the fact I am using the backing track and the fact Exploration Group LLC. is claiming copyright on your work.
Hi Joe! Unfortunately I am not the composer of this song (it's only my cover version). The composers were, Santo, Johnny and Ann Farina. You would have to seek authorization from the song's Publishing outfit for proper usage rights if you wanted to include in your movie.
