Hi! Congrats on your film. Sorry to have to report that a "cover version" is simply a performers rendition of some other composer's original work. If you're unable to obtain the rights for the song's use, then I would suggest either looking into "Royalty Free" music, "Buyout" music, or even approaching a musician friend to compose a song in the Mood and Style of "Sleepwalk" (avoiding any copyright infringement entirely) if that particular music is a "must" for your film. I used this as a backing track in a guitar cover of this song. Thank you so much for it, however, Exploration Group LLC. placed a fraudulent copyright claim on your backing track. I disputed the claim, but I thought it should be brought to your attention both for the fact I am using the backing track and the fact Exploration Group LLC. is claiming copyright on your work.
