I really like how Snufkin and Joxter look alike without Snufkin being a copy of his young dad. Cartoons tend to do that. I always thought that Joxter was more handsome with his blue eyes and dark hair ♥️
Yeah I kind of read it that way too, like both are considered nice-looking but Joxter is more pretty or handsome. There's more contrast and rich colour in his features than in Snufkin's more lowkey camouflaged design, plus Joxter seems to have finer and more shaped facial features than Snufkin with all his snubby Mymble looks.

@@smirnoffice8859 that little my's, younger mymble's and snufkin's mom. The one who sits on the steps near the king is their grandmother. 1:26 you can see Snufkin's mom and dad dancing together. This show messed up the timeline a little, Mother Mymble is supposed to be older.

Characters connect little differently in anime than in books. In books snufkin and my are half siblings and older mymble is their mother. In anime Joxter and my’s mother are friends but it is never confirmed did they have Snufkin and My together or with someone else.
Some of this stuff is shockingly great: "Aren't you saving the principal?". ... Wait time... "There is some time in our lives where we have to face our faith". Like, this is cruel, cool, cute and true.
