Beginning of an osmosis repair to strip 4mm of fiberglass using a GelPlane Mk IV planer. The bottom was wet, blistered and delaminated. Now it is shaved smooth and drying out. Slick52921 Thanks for the reply this helps me in estimating the value of older boats as opposed to buying new. I am in the early stages of my four year plan to get out and sail the world. My boat choices at this time are Hensa, Hunter, Sundeer, and Amel Super Maramu. Nothing older then a 2005 with the exception of Sundeer which I'll go as old as 1985, only because these boats are as slippery as snail snot in water, and you can get an 85 for $350K. Thanks again for the info./DC
