I had the bright idea to try to go ride by dirt bike on single track trails after it had rained nearly a week after Hurricane Helene came through a large portion of the east coast. Thankfully WV was largely unaffected by the storm, but interestingly enough the storm was still powerful enough to be considered a tropical storm when it made it to Kentucky.
After I made it to the trails, I realized it was going to be really sloppy with limited traction. Given my riding style of staying lower in the rpms and not spinning the tire too much, this caused the tire to cake up with mud a ton on the trails with thicker mud. On this day I got stuck on trails 26 and 28 for a while. It was far too muddy, and I didn't stay out long since I had a lot of college football games I wanted to get back to watch. I also dropped the handlebar on my foot at one point. I remember it hurting a little when I dropped it. When I got home, I had a large bruise above my big toe, but thankfully I don't think I broke my foot.
Trails rode: 10, 12, 11, 15, 17, 22, 21, 23, 24, 27, 28, 26, 27, 25, 11, 12, 10
Bike: 2022 KTM 250 XCW...around 52 hours?
Camera: GoPro Hero 12 with Dango Chin Mount
