Slightly rambling overview of some retro PDAs (Palm OS, Windows Mobile 6.x)

Well after having some time to play around with my new old toys, The Palm Tungsten TX, The Handspring Visor Neo, the HP iPaq 110 and the Samsung Jack. I've decided to share a little bit about what they're capable of. The Samsung hasn't seen any action (but will see a SIM card at some point) but the others are all loaded with favorite games.
For Windows Mobile, we have Age of Empires and Sim City 2000, while Palm OS features Dope Wars, its own Sim City and a basic breakout. Both serve as great calendars, but email is not guaranteed to be smooth in 2018 unless you're straight up syncing to an old version of Outlook.

Good video. You mentioned gaming specific hardware, the Tapwave Zodiac was a Palm OS gaming device. Unfortunately, it didn't do too well.

It's been a long time but i think either disabling or enabling the proxy setting,either in the app or in the device's network settings,allowed a connection.It was a simple matter of changing that one thing,then your device had internet access.

Registration code for Monopoly on Palm OS is 306524 Palm devices only supported SD, which only supported up to 2GB, but there is an SDHC/SDXC driver called PowerSDHC that is available at palmpowerups.com

You were opening the hp iPaq wrongly, you're supposed to press the button and slide it off, and then just slide it on

Jesus this guy never used a phone with removable battery? I can clearly see what he's doing wrong: these covers aren't clicked in dude. They slide in, so you line the cover up to create a gap at the middle of the back of the phone and slide it in, there is NO "pressing the cover until it clicks".
