Do you have some patio chairs with broken sling fabric? If so, you have some decisions to make. You can replace the fabric but the custom fabric can get pretty expensive ($50 or more) and it will take some effort to replace the old fabric. Removing the old rods holding the fabric in place can be a real pain in the neck. The other choice is to trash these chairs and get new ones. We faced the same situation. We have six patio chairs with broken fabric slings. They are otherwise very high quality chairs and we hate to throw them into trash. We found some good ideas on the web to replace them with wood boards. We decided to do it ourselves and the results were even better than expected. We now enjoy the patio much more than before.
