Slingshot Hunting rabbit, pigeon and Ferreting rabbit and bushcraft cooking. The slingshot is a great survival tool and more than capable of putting food on the table Huusk knives huusk.club/CatapultCarnage
Wow, this video showcases some incredible slingshot skills in action! The accuracy and precision needed for hunting with a slingshot is truly impressive. It's not just about the thrill of the hunt but also the respect for nature and the environment. Kudos to the hunter for demonstrating great marksmanship while enjoying the outdoors. This video is a perfect blend of adventure and appreciation. Sir can you pin my comment?
I got a slingshot to deter foxes on my local beach whilst night fishing, couldn’t hit a barn door at twenty feet, I didn’t try to kill them just stop them pinching my bait 🤣🤣🤣 lovin the vids mate, looking forward to the next update 👍
Looks like a fun day out hunting. Its my trips with adversity that I have the best memories of. The burritos looked great. My Gran used to make a legendary Rabbit stew. I should do a video of it one day. Great vid Chris.
my 1st ever ear piercing was done by a ferret :) she was a polecat colour so brown with white face ring and me and my brother used to take her catching rabbits most weekends Dad would gut them and Ma would cook them up for us. happy days
Really enjoyed the video Chris, the long net is something i personally haven't used for years, but know its a lethal tool when set correctly, and is good to see you use.. The last time i went that deep in shit it cost me a wellie, so please excuse my chuckles 😂😂😂, the air would have more colourful had i been on the mic 🎤🤔 I've already heard some great reports on this blade from a buddy, who claims its the best he's used for any food preparation. Thanks again for posting Chris, look forward to seeing the next one! 👍
Yes Paul long nets are the why to go, they are so much easier to use than purse nets, Faster too I did swear much worse when I turned off the camera 🤣 thanks pal
I grew up hunting rabbits with a slingshot And I live in West Texas where we make burritos all the time. I enjoyed your video keep it up in a big howdy from West Texas
Ahh Chris, watching you work those old, established hedges was super. Where I am nowadays, too many fields have been incorporated into huge harvest areas, not fields. You are rabbiting in beautiful country, old style, simply beautiful. Grand video...well done
Just found your channel so apologies for the late comment.Congrats for getting a sponsor, that is always cool and your content is great. I would caution you about those knives though. They are notorious for sketchy quality control and a *lot* of others have lost subscribers because the knives were bought by fans and they turned out to be crap.
I've never eaten rabbit. Is it gamey? I'm new to the slingshot but after watching your videos I'm getting more and more accurate. I have lots of rabbits around here and soon I'll get one and try it. Love your videos. Thanks
Chris thanks for the vids. I really enjoy them. I’m looking for a review of the Gamekeeper Pocket Rocket 3 that’s for sale at Proshot. Thanks for your help.
iv been looking up those husk knifes mate but wasn't too sure if they were good enough for the field and bushcraft ... as for the stuckage footage lol i did that about 15 yrs ago in a swamp but i was stuck up my my waist lol things we do huh all in a days hunt huh lol all the best
Like 781, comment128: that's great! Not 10 seconds after I say to my friend that I've never eaten rabbit yet but I bet you that'd be great rolled in tortillas along with some cheese we start laughing because you busted out with just that. We didn't know, thought you might have flatbread or something made with yeast. Cool. Btw you're new for both of us and I'm subscribing now.
I've been shooting over a year but I've never hunted I have the accuracy but I'm just wondering is there any preferred slingshot/bands for hunting and what would you recommend me getting
Hi Chris I got one of your titans from Pro shot been shooting it the past 2 days but even know my ancor point is really hight under my cheek bone the shots are still flying high do you have any recommendations thank you
Like the knife, like the burritos, SA could be at little more attuned. The British Isles ability to create mud never ceases to amaze me, that field hasn't seen a 🚜 for a long long time😣😃
Believe it or not that feild probably see's a tractor regularly 🤣 I was watching wranglerstar in Oregon digging ditches to get water to his feilds where are over here most farmers are draining theirs 🤣 there's a reason we are the emerald isle ☘
It may be slightly off topic but have a question: When I target practice in the woods I use clay shot or darts. I somehow feel that shooting hundreds of lead or steel shot in the woods would be not good for the environment. Am I wrong there? How do you all do it?
Hello Chris greetings from Brazil! I was looking at the cover of this video and I noticed that you are aiming for the shot with both eyes open. Could you confirm if this is the way you shoot with the slinshot? with both eyes open! And how does it work? Hug!
Hey, first of all very nice video, then I'd like to know which bans you used. For starting hunting with slingshot is a good choice to buy the gzk green band of 72.mm?
If you want to hunt with 9 mm steel, yes. But if you want to hunt with 8mm a good thickness is 62.mm green gzk and a 23 to 18 bandcut (it’s what I use to hunt rabbits)
brilliant vid mate , great stuff , when u karate choped the necks of the rabbit reminded me of my dad making me do that at age 5 onwards ,… brought back some memories
never gave my ferrets a full rabbit like that before , would have been easier lol. had a polecat great little ferret but did bite the odd time. The big gray hound ferret i had was the biggest ferret i ever saw my son was 5 carried it by the tail never would bite i used to throw him up the garden he came back chittering on his hind legs and you could grab his head shake him and throw him again but put gofor down a rabbit hole all hell broke loose. Out here in Canada they keep them as pets feed them pellets I figure if they saw a rabbit they would run lol
Fascinating. However, those ferrets are nasty little 💩s Lord help anyone they ends up dead in their home for couple days before anyone knows - and they have free roaming pet ferrets!! Yuck!! Closed casket.
