I'm a singer myself and I do the same thing to help me quickly access the upper register of my voice. It's the one thing I was able to learn off guys like Corey Taylor since I'm nowhere near his level
I remember watching this with my grandma on tv. I was a little weird emo kid and I think she was a little bit confused with that, but on this evening we just sat there and watched Slipknot. I think she didn’t even care cause she was too sick at this time. At that time I was sad because I couldn’t go to Rock am Ring even when it was close to our home, now I’m 25 and I wish I could watch Slipknot with her again and tell her how much I miss her.
There's no thing like a little weird emo kid... you are just a regular guy with good taste for music... that's all. I love good music, that makes me a diferent person? yup it makes in society standards, I really dont give a fuc... I have good memories with my grandmother too, the last night I spent with her, I dance with my grandmother. She died 12 hours after. The last memories are her laughing of joy, the cancer took her away from me. But hey im still a strange guy with 3 kids who likes good music and have alot of good memories. Good and bad...
Metal concerts are one of the most misunderstood things in music culture . so positive , such acceptance and unity . One of those rare times when you're gathered with large groups of fellow lovers of the genre , most of the time , amongst mainstream people your the weirdo into the weirdo music relegated to being played in your car or on headphones because it's mainstream rejected, then , every now and then in life you are with your tribe , moving with energy and love like a viking army . Fucking beautiful
@@RockyMountainWest13 😆 Guten Abend meine Freunde! Wie geht es euch? (2x) Gut, gut, wunderbar. ... Dieser Song heißt "before i forget" Good evening my friends! How are you Well well, nice ... This sings called...!
For anyone wondering how Corey knows German, he's stated in interviews that he typically tries to learn a little of that country's language for when he's touring
i’ve seen slipknot three times. i was too young to appreciate them in their prime. goddamn they’re so electrifying live. i’ve been in the middle of the mosh pit, against the barricade, and in the lawn and it was just as incredible each time.

Julius Rutgers Of course not. All he needs is to continue being a great diverse singer. The world doesn't expect him to be an exceptional linguist on top of that.
Hey my brother.. i DEFINETELY feel it too, and the dopest thing is that i ALWAYS feel it when i come back to it after some days or weeks without seeing it. It gives me goosebumps every fucking time, it's amazing! Hugs from Brazil! Hope you're doing fine in these hectic days we're going tru.
Most accommodating drummer to ever live.. he cared for literally every other musician and their parts.. which is very hard to find especially in a genre such as Metal.. I'm sure Gods are learning those blast beats from you in Heaven 😢
I KNOW RIGHT LIKE HOLY MOTHER FUCKER FUCKING FUCK FUCKING SHIT. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH SOME FUCKING VULGAR. LIKE MOTHER (censored)....... wait What the (censored)? it did it again. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.
noah friday Wow, just wow. This makes me so angry to hear. Everyone instantly assumes that metalhead is a Satanist. I go to church everyone Wednesday and Sunday and list to Killswitch, Slipknot, the Black Dahlia Murder, ect. Just because you like a certain genre of music doesn't mean you're a Satanist
Jon Snow It seems like he listens to deathcore and nu metal. A lot of those fan bases in that genre are edgy people that get theirs shirts at hot topic
U r fucking right... slipknot 2014 are sucks i see a lots of mobile, theyre recording shits. and this kind of slipknot concert i want to see every concert...
jimakosmetalman i was just at a slipknot concert and everyone was up on their feet hands in air singing and yelling. There were some people recording on their phones but they put on one hell of a show.
@@oblivion_007 Well, if you just listen to the casual pop and hip hop mainstream section of the radio, then yeah, that's the only thing you'll find. But if you go below the surface, that's where you'll find the good stuff! "Shitty pop music" has always been in the mainstream. I just avoid listening to that part of the radio, or not even listen to the radio at all.
I've never really considered myself a huge slipknot fan or anything like that, but after my first glimpse at seeing what the do live and how they treat their fans? They win MAJOR points in my book. Look at how engaged he is with the fans, look how they openly express gratitude. They know how to perform damn well and it shows. More bands need to be like this! Whether you like what the do or not, you still got to give them that!
The fact he speaks German just for them even if it’s just a greeting it’s still sick asf no one is like Cory and no one will ever b able to replace him he such a solid guy
