@@mest1589 oh I use lots of gain, and only the bridge pickup. 🤟 thanks. I'm starting to get the hang of them. I try them all over the fret board some spots are easier than others.
Sebastian Banuelos the fuck about that is Canadian?! We say aye?! That sounds a little Scottish to me mate. Canadians say eh!....like “eh! Shut the fuck up, we don’t say aye!”
I love how boring Jim is. Like, imagine being one a guitarist in one of the most critically-acclaimed metal bands of the past 20 years, and just talking like "ok, here's the, um, the uh chorus part, up to speed." What a badass.
@@rosemaryobrien6641 that's not necessarily a bad thing, I kno a couple of guitarists that learned through tabs and not kno a lick of music theory or notes, and they're better guitarists than me.
If you're talking about Jim and Micks tuning in this song I believe they're both tuned down and sharp. If you're talking about guitars in general....well my friend they can all be tuned this way. Keep practice little brother, it'll all make sense one day.
i do fingerstyles in acoustic but its so hard for me to transcend to electric guitar riffs/metal riffs.. how the hell is that pinch/pick harmonics while using pick? i really love slipknot songs specially this one...
@@wilsoncrocker man i don't know, i just read "Slipknot - Duality" and saw someone holding a Telecaster, and i just had to say something about it, i don't even know the dude tbh
yo no sé si a ustedes les transmite lo mismo, pero pareciera que jim esta pensando en "estoy perdiendo mi tiempo aqui". no se lo siente cómodo, o con muchas ganas de hacer esto..
Never judge a book by the cover. You never know what the guy / gal in front of you is capable of :) This is a lesson every youngster should learn as early as possible :)
