@@jonathanmarkos5526 the success that Slipknot is having in a great part is because of Jay. He's giving a major part on the energy that the band was losing along the way, Joey is in another space and episode now, we can be grateful that he contributed to the band so much but now Jay is the man.
Maybe during the Iowa era but there's plenty of death metal singers with much more brutal voices than him. Check out Travis Ryan from Cattle Decapitation
@@niekencasvetcool i can totally see him doing it just for that lmao to me its looks awesome i mean what did people expect, corey masks were always plain looking
I was afraid of this song, and a couple of them in the new album. About how Corey would have problems performing these songs. Never been happier for being wrong in my life
He's a beast.. this song makes my DNA go cray. The whole album is fucking amazing and hits me in the feels. I'm a late bloomer but I'm so grateful for this band coming in my life at a time like this.
Dan Piller got into them back in like 2015, but if you were to ask me anything about them you’d think I had been there from the start lmao. They’re by far the best and most interesting band to ever set foot on stage. Not only that but the songs are incredibly relatable
Nirvana_ Fan wether they are just hitting a can or playing a bass they are part of the family. (Ps. I hope you know your favorite band Nirvana has a bassist too dumbass)
It’s funny because my immediate likes were Critical Darling, Liars Funeral(which i haven’t seen much love for), of course Orphan but I agree with 99doogs... Solway Firth is STILL the best one on the album. Butttt I just got on Nero Forte yesterday and can’t stop listening it over and over. This album is next level.
u know what that mask vision is trying to create something uncomfortable not only for to wear, but for people to look at , so if u like his mask u not respect corey choice , that mask is trash anyway
For real. This one song right here just sends chills down my spine from how good it is. I can't stop listening to it. It's so fucking badass. And Iowa is a complete classic of energetic raw metal and filth. That will always be on top. But damn this album is really making a statement.
This was such a great concert. I went with my mom, and we kept checking the previous setlists for Solway Firth. And we assumed they'd play it in Iowa the day before but nope! CHICAGO GOT SOLWAY FIRTH. We flipped out when they started playing it. I've never screamed so much at a concert than that night haha.
@@carlweathers5714 Keep being a condescending little prick because people like different things to you. You sound like the type to call people snowflakes whilst being a snowflake. Lmao
I was there and I kept telling my friend that they would play this but he didn't believe me. When Corey said they were playing a song they never played before we looked at each other with pure excitement hahaha I would absolutely kill to see them again
Flew across country to see the Iowa state fair show and this was the song I really wanted to see live...no joy tho. Amazing show that withstanding. This is one of my all time fav songs. this album doesnt have a weak song at all. truly rare nowadays
Can't stop listening to this song. One of the best songs I have ever listened to my life with how much creativity is packed into this one song so well. Only Slipknot can put together such a masterpiece.
Still recovering from the Michigan show last night ... that’s the best I’ve seen them in a LONG time and I’ve been going to shows since their intro 2nd stage, midday Ozzfest and subsequent OPENING for Coal Chamber/Machinehead.
this is definitely my new favorite song by them, with the insane guitar riffs they're probably some of the best lickes in my opinion i've ever heard all round in any song i've ever listened to, and with jay going insane on this album and especially this song it takes it to another level, and i do believe that corey's vocals are back baby, just as hard and heavy as they used to be
Last concert I went to it was amazing can’t wait too see them again RIP Joey. Wish I got too see the original lineup. Paul and Joey are legends. Thanks for the helping me get through some shit 1, and 2 forever in our hearts.
This is the best song on the Album in my opinion. Really captures modern Slipknot and shows their full potential. Can't say the same for the rest of the album unfortunately.
Was there and god damn was a great show. Someone actually passed away at this show from being pushed over railings. Tinley park has a ledge splitting lawn/standing seats. RIP to that guy. You and Joey are legends!
I can’t wait to see them in Indy on Friday! It will be my 3rd time seeing them live. The new album is so good that I haven’t been this excited for a show. So glad they added this song to the setlist!
Me and my dad snuck up to the VIP balcony at this show, for the whole show! And we also did it when slayer played here a couple years ago! So awesome! Hope you saw me up there throwing you guys the horns!
Because security stopped every pit soon after they started. It was an all ages show, and there were kids and families getting hit. Also, if you were at the show, most of the crowd wasn't too familiar with the new songs. Everyone only knew a few words from Unsainted's chorus.
Billy Bahnfleth pits are just one big pissing contest. Its like watching 2 chads fight outside of a bar its like ok fellas we get it, you have a micropenis.
That set with all the fans and the pyro and the glowing neon green on their uniforms collectively looks insane. I really like Slipknot's music, but having never been to a metal show, I think I'd be overwhelmed seeing them live! I love the new album though-really heavy and diverse.
So weird not seeing Chris Fehn up there, his mask was such a prominent part of the slipknot presence. Lets see, now we have tortilla guy, Deckard Cain and Maya Inca Boy.
I was there & can assure you Slipknot sounds fucking incredible. They nailed it 🤘 Edit: Corey probably sounds the best he ever has. I’m hoping for some live song releases in the future.
Duncan Hainsworth headbanging he’s a legend like his father. I was at the stone sour show where Corey had him sing song #3 he’s got a lot of energy like his dad
@@ZoltanvamosOfficial nah man I disagree. Corey didnt keep the original AHIG vocals throughout the entire AHIG era. Listen to Mayhem 2008 in Washington. Thats the real AHIG. Not the download shit
Corey’s new mask is definitely one of my favorites of his , the whole album is very dark in lyrics and no matter what face he’s making under the mask it just makes him look in pain. I’m sure that’s what he was going for.
