@@tonythetyrant2572 Yea, he was pretty lit nearly all the time during this era. He sings much better live in the last couple of years than he did in these years imo.
@@weakish If by "lit" you mean abusing alcohol / drugs then you're wrong, he kicked his habits and addictions during the recording of Vol 3. He admits this himself in his 2nd book, he had a whole bunch of lyrics written and recorded but when he sobered up he ditched the whole lot and started again from scratch. Check it out.
Man, me too! I just looked and Slipknot played 233 shows during The Subliminal Verses World Tour.... I missed my chance during these times and I had a few but I’ve seen them live more than once. This looks like peak Slipknot. A finely tuned jet-rod!
There was a vol 3 era, towards the end i believe, where they brought back the hydraulic percussion stands, but still kept just the 4 drums. I loved that. I do not like this era where their percussion does absolutely nothing. Kinda boring
Corey sounds like shit with his Vol 3 mask. I personally like the way it looks on him but he sounds way better live with his mask this year. Even though i think thats the worst looking mask so far
I think people forget that these guys are getting older and not getting any younger, this was 15 years ago. They’re full of spirit in their performances even back to 00/01 they’re still babies and some of them in their 20s. Compared to shows that they do now, all of them have caused damage to their bodies whether it be through drugs, alcohol or stage performances they still put 100% into their shows.
Don't get me wrong joey was a legand and a beast but jay is a fucking tank. Slipknot will never be like this agian they still have a lot of energy but just not as much as these days. Also I hate his screams here I think it's because of all the drinking he did here
You see most bands headbang so hard and simply where they just wanna break their neck but Jim he has style to his headbang and it’s cool and satisfying

@maxisslipknot I have other proshot vids that I can upload (not from this show). They're not rare, but they are much better quality than the ones that are currently already on RU-vid. I'm not sure in which order I will be uploading my videos but I have several options for videos right now including: video interviews, audio interviews, backstage footage, audience shot live footage and some HQ proshot footage.
I'm almost 100 percent positive that there's zero mics on the front stage percussion. No wires coming from anywhere. And I see no sign of hidden mics like they use now days.
