I don't do lessons for songs until I've covered them and am confident I can play and teach them as accurately as possible. I won't be doing a lesson or cover for that song anytime soon.

Nah, I only do lessons when I'm confident I can show people the way to play it that's accurate. I'm working on lessons for Surfacing and Left Behind.

Get 11-56 gauge strings. If you still wanna tune up to c# the 56 has enough slinkyness to allow that. But if you want percussive attack and tight low end response just make a custom set of strings with the biggest being a 58. You can do that with dadarrio or any other company. For dadarrio I recommend using nyxl or xt or XS strings to make the set. Specific recommendation for string gauges would be 11-15-20p-32-42-58(or 59)

All my gear is in the linktree in my bio, but I use D'Addario EXL 116s for Drop B. It's 11-14-18-30-42-52 for the gauges. I'd recommend trying different gauges and sticking with whatever works for you, everyone's has different taste and technique.
