@@sabodebol3836 I think you will be ok. I would stick with the slk that is the year 2000 on up and you should be good. I have tons of videos on my channel fixing them so just check those out if you get one

@vashawnlife My question to you is what do think of the 2006 all the way up to 2010 350 CLK-Class convertible with the hardtop or the cloth one which one has less problems with.

@@sabodebol3836 clk convertibles have way more problems then slk. The electronic transmission and the ragtop is the biggest issue

@vashawnlife The transmission problem still exists in all those years, and there's no recall on any of these vehicles.

Nope. You can if you want to, if its in neutral gear, but you do have to turn the ignition on.

I hear that a lot it's one of the problems of this model I want to buy one but am worried about it

check the weather thermometer. Mine right now is at 187F, we think that's the problem. A new one is coming over
